  • Wow just looking at the list for Thursday frightens the pants off me! But I am going to try and do the following:

Thundering Thursday- Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1

Vacuum floors and sofas-that's a Saturday job for me as little man helps to earn extra pocket money
    Level 2
Dusting, even if around everything & water & wipe the poor neglected plants! Yes I can do that
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe-already done as toddler in the house
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets-Yep
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself-Again Saturday
    Level 3
Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!) and banister-Yep
Clean windows & any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc-Yep
Tidy shoes, coats and bags .. Are there any that need rehoming?-Nightmare job all dumped in dining room waiting for OH to put coat rack back up from when he took it down 3 weeks ago!
Wipe skirtings, doorframes and other paintwork-Yep
    Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    • Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper.. the bottom 6 inches is just rubbish it has been there so long I'm surprised it isn't compost!!
    • Change any dead lightbulbs in the house!
    • Clean a radiator or two.
    • Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!!
    • HHI.. get that mountain gone!
Plus all the other dailies that need to get done so yes am defo going to give this a go
:o 2008 will be the year I finally get organised!:o
    :eek:Failed miserably-will try harder in 2010!

Going for HHC as really dont think the lounge should take longer than that. it is Hoovered and S & S nearly everyday - just a few barbies to pick up but DD2 is currenlty playing with those. going for 10.15 - 10.45 challenge.

mojt - blast forgotten what I was going to say ... let me see... oh yeah thanks for reminders about childcare vouchers. Hubby has his own company tho he takes a salary as an employee , says if I do the legwork and register them or whatever with the scheme then we can use his company to pay the vouchers. Think that makes sense.

I've got the bathroom, kitchen and dusting to do. More washing and drying and floors to hoover. I will was them tomorrow.
Will catch up with you later.....

Oh, I haven't caught up with posts, so I hope you are all well and pushing through despite the miserable weather!!

Oh Dusty now you're being silly! Have you ever seen a squirrel with an umbrella? Pleeeaaasssseeeee!

Are you standing down as chairperson then? I nearly got hooked for that job last year but I avoided it by stairing at the floor and humming loudly. They all think i'm mad now! xx

Good tactic! No I have been treasurer for the past 3 years so am standing down from that - I can't wait I am bored of it now, I'm not good at long term commitments

Morning all. Just been on the phone to my mum for 90 minutes - gee she can talk. Did my dalies and tided whilst chatting. Going to put the washing out have a piece of toast then off to town. Hope not to be out too long.

Lounge now tidy and sparkly - except for ironing board which I have put up deliberately. Will do some of that when i get back from dropping DD2 at nursery this pm.

Kitchen - S&S, dishes done (draining at mo!)
Sorted paperwork pile and thrown 10 bits in recycling bin.

Sadly lacking in energy today. Will try a few glasses of water and see if that gets me going, if not a few glasses of wine tonight maybe in order as it did the trick last week!
