    .....yeah.....and today likewise!

Now that is impressive! I had someone arriving at 8 to fix the shower so I had to get everyone ready and tidy up so nothing impressive here.
In fact, I've even more material that I found yesterday so this is becoming an enormous task to condense the literature and write in a coherent form.

Are there any other students trying to catch up with themselves over the bank holiday or am I on my own working here? Maybe you've all finished and off to the sun/watching tv/catching up with sleep (lucky people!)

I've 4000 words due at beginning of June and still sorting out what I'm going to write.

Oh poor things doing exams! Good luck everyone.....

Progress report on my assignment, I have at least made a start. I've lots of scribbled notes, a plan, a dining room full of printed articles and a few books too.

My ideas are brilliant. My plan is well structured..... but will it happen? ever????????

I start off so well each morning.... okay till lunch time.....then it's downhill (or uphill?!). And useless in the evenings but there aren't enough mornings! Why am I doing this? I don't need it for my career or money or promotion or anything. This is my choice......... I must be mad!

Cut off is Monday and I'm working Wed and Thur (though can do some at work as it's work related). I may have to drive up to uni at the weekend (as I live 75 miles away and don't need to go for a couple of weeks) if I don't finish before then.

Jolaaled - how are yours going?

Hang in there, Pandora! Sounds like you're on the way to a great diss, with your ideas! I'm jealous!!
I have put diss on hold as I HAVE to finish essay by Friday this week. Then weekend will be putting finishing touches, hopefully to dissertation draft # 1, which needs to be submitted in June. With my diss, i've done most of intro and lit. review (but badly), method is ok, discussion needs attention!
    Back to it!

Dancing queen: good luck with your exams!
  • thank you both! good luck to you too, sounds like a lot of work!

    Hi all.......
Well, not much progress here but now three clear days (ie not working in my job) which means a lot of time to get this assignment/chapter finished. I'm ready to start writing and plan to spend tomorrow getting the gist down, with a good intro. then to polish. I think I have enough references but may need to find some more to back up points, as my memory is lousy if I cant locate examples.
How's your essay Jolaaled? I bet you finish before me.....
Mine can be used as a chapter for my thesis if it's any good, and provided I stick to the topic I'm writing about, so that would be good news if I pass with it.

    When are your exams dancingqueen?

(I have a 16 year old on GCSEs here who is doing absolutely no revision - not the same at uni though, is it?)

I have had 2 already, 2 to go. Its my final year and need to get a 2.1 to satisfy the condition of my job offer. I will do it but my 3rd exam is tomorrow and I have run out of motivation and desire!
