Ive had loads of letters with threats of legal action,i find them really usefull for doodling and writing notes on and sometimes they save me having to use a coffee coaster,dont worry about them

Wednesday 20th February

Well I have taken the first step to my bankruptsy. Phoned the court today and they are sending me the forms. They said once I have recieved the forms filled them in and taken three copys and got all the paper work together phone them again for a date.

Well done Hev on taking those first baby steps. Any help needed with the forms and I&E just shout.

I appriciate (cant spell) all your help and support. The whole thing is a bit scarey I know I will be terrible on the day of the court hearing but my brother is coming with me for moral support. I will keep you posted step by step as it happens.

I have just been going over the bankruptsy papers on line and the only thing I am not sure about is "list of assetts" the fixtures and fittings.
Do I have to go from room to room and estimate what things are worth?

No that is to list that 40 inch plasma screen tv you have in the lounge or the Rembrandt you have hanging in the toilet. So in other words anything of great worth, say over £1000

i just wanted to say hi and send you a hug.... my dad died a few years ago and i know my mum found the site http://www.merrywidow.me.uk a big help in terms of grieving (hmmm, can i post that? i have no vested interest in the site)

Just take it one day at a time, the CAB will be able to help you and we are all here for you if you need to talk, you have already been through so much - this will be a doddle.... you *can* do it!

Thanks for the info it's hard having to sort things out when you are on your own. Not only have I got this bankruptsy hanging over me, although my husband died last september I am still waiting for the inquest date hence no death certificate and that creates a problen in itself.
