i remeber ringing the or up asking when they take the fridge away as i need to buy some food, she laughed and said we dont do that anymore. i still cant beleive br is that easy even 5 months down the line , im waiting for something bad to happen , i know im loosing the house its just when , but even that im not scared off now just looking forward to a new place hopefully with better heating than iv got now.

Well it's another day and thanks to you all I did have a reasonably good nights sleep. I feel so posative now that I cant wait to get the ball rolling for the bankruptsy. The C.A.B. are helping me with the forms ect and I am hoping to get an appointment with Joy this week (the lady from the C.A.B. who is helping me). Today is the first day since my husband died that I feel a lot happier and it's thanks to you guys. I will of course keep you all posted on the progress.

Hi well it's another day and I must say that since talking to you guys I had a fairley good nights sleep (the first in a long while). This week I will be going to see Joy (from the C.A.B.) to sort out going bankrupt. I feel so positive after all your help and support. I will of course keep you posted on the progress.

Good luck- I went BR last monday and I can't even begin to tell you the change it's having, I'm not shouting at my kids anymore, I'm eating, I can sleep, I am actually laughing again!

I'm in a H.A house and when i notified them they said as long as I paid my rent consistantly they didn't bother with it, so I stopped my payments to my creditors and concentrated on keeping on top of essential bills (rent, gas, electric, council tax) I have nothing of material value either

Good luck, it is one of those things that sounds scarier than the reality is.

Hiya Hev, sounds like that good nights sleep did the trick, glad to see your feeling a little better about things, small manageble steps thats how you deal with things...you'll be in safe hands with the CAB helping you but as everyone else said we're always here whatever you need

Well yet another day to get through. I have done my income and outgoings as follows.

The funeral is £500 owing as the dwp dont pay it all. It was £1700 and they paid £1200.

Tomorrow I have to phone the C.A.B. to get appointment to sort out the bankruptsy.

I owe my Egg card £10132.48 and my Argos card is about £1300.
Egg accepted £1 a month for the next six months and they have cashed my first payment.

OH MY GOD just opened the post and a letter from COLLECT DIRECT (UK)
saying they are acting for Egg and they want the full amount £10132.48 with in 72 hours or they will be taking legal action.
When I phone the C.A.B. tomorrow I will tell them about this letter.

I dont know you take one step forward and two back.
I feel rearly depressed now had to take a pill!

Will let you know how I get on tomorrow after speaking to the C.A.B.
