  • Morning all :hello:

Hmm... A micro meet between Churchie and Penny. I checked out the British Museum's website and sure enough they are advertising a couple of extra old relics to be on display today so it must be true. :D:p;) Be good the pair of you. :naughty:
Catowen...I hope your day improves and your DD gets better soon. x
Stefejb....What a nice surprise to see your DD.
    Donny...enjoy your visit from DS.

All these people looking forward to seeing their children makes me wonder when mine will become more pleasant to be around. Hopefully the fighting will settle down a bit today.
I'm about to get stuck into the ironing then hopefully get the veggie patch dug over and my compost dug into it.
Need to plan and do some seed buying too.
No idea what's for tea. May persuade OH to do something.

    Have a lovely Saturday. :D

    Haribo x

    Bit parky this morning

Back from my few days break in the [strike]retirement home[/strike] warner hotel. mmmmm - was as expected to be honest but we made the most of it and enjoyed the food, the location and the relaxing time by the pool. The beetle drive, bingo and tea dances we somehow managed to miss every day :D Did have some amazing weather for Feb so did get a bit of colour when we had a beach day (well actually it was pebble day) They did ask us if we wanted to book again and we said yes..............in 2038:rotfl: My mate is now banned from hotel bookings :D

Anyway back to normality and a case full of washing lucky me.

Havent read all the dailys yet but i did catch up with Smokeys news so wishing you and DH all the best.
CM and Pen Pen have a good day ladies - bet our ears will be burning later:D
Haribo - I really hope its not really your compost:eek:

Right off to do some [strike]lazing and catching up with the threads [/strike] swishing :j

Smoky...hugs and sincere wishes that OH continues to improve

Not read much of last few days thread so hugs to anyone in need or want.

  • Morning everybody :hello:

Big hugs again to smokybabe, I'm guessing no news is good news? You're still in my prayers.

PenPin - enjoy the wedding and that posh hotel! Hope your cold is better soon.

catowen - hope your day picks up from here! ((Hugs)) By the way, I did the penne, goats' cheese and runner beans recipe out of the Gordon Ramsay book the other night and it was YUMMY. But if you try it, I suggest you go a bit easy on the quantity of butter, as mine had a bit much.

PenPen & Churchmouse - enjoy your lunch :)

meanmarie - I hope your DD goes into labour soon!

I've had my eye on the Tefal steamer that's down from £59.99 to £19.99 on the Argos Clearance website - but had given up hope of getting one as it seemed to be out of stock at all my local branches. Last night I investigated some branches slightly further afield, and the result was I managed to reserve what appears to be the last one in South London :T so am off to Streatham later to buy it. It's only two buses away, so not really too much hassle at all, except for the fact that I know how bad the Saturday traffic can be on Streatham High Road  If i'm not back here by tomorrow, send out a search party!

Off to the opera tonight with a friend I met on a music forum - he lives in Russia but is over here this week renewing his visa, and when he said he was planning to go to this evening's show I said oh, I've got two free tickets for that...

    Hugs to all in need

    Love Rzl xx

Well a very traumatic start to the half term so far, Katy has beggered up the pc & I just managed to sort it out, heaven preserve me from IT 'experts'.
She is now cleaning her room, the up side is she's bringing all the DVD's down that she's borrowed along with my hairdyrer & most of my mugs & glasses, unfortunately she seems unable to fill the dishwasher so it's all piled on the kitchen table. The down side is that she is singing at the top of her voice, or maybe she's in great pain, either way the racket is deafening.
Hubby & are going out, don't know why, don't know when, anywhere for a bit of peace.
I just keep hoping I'll get another lodger soon & then I can give her the elbow.
    Hugs to all.

    Good morning everyone :hello:

    Welcome to rozza

Have a great time at the opera Bargain Rzl - is he one of those Russian multimillionaires? ;)

I'm not sure what we're doing today, other than going to see friends over in Suffolk for dinner tonight. At least that's one less meal for me to cook. :D They were heading to Borough Market yesterday to get ingredients for tonight, so I fully expect an all singing, all dancing menu.

I think that lunch will be HM "Tuscan Bean Soup" which was out of one of the Tesco magazines once. The rest will be put in the freezer for another day. It's really quite a hearty portion, due to the beans and veggies that get put in. :)

Better go as DH has just finished in the shower as a subtle hint for me to get off my behind! :D
