Morning Everyone
Its a lovely bright clear but cold day on the NW coast this morning.
Plans for the day is laundry sorting, a quick trip to Mr T's for some yogs and a paper then gardening. I'm really considering trying to scratch the money togerther for a mini greenhouse from Aldi if they have any left. My dad will be round later with the trailer for the tip so I can fill it with stuff that won't compost.
Tea tonight will be Enchilladas I think I need to check I have all the required bits.
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -

catowen hope your daughter feels better soon.
cm and penpen enjoy your day
to everyone else hugs and best wishes.
Today I am going out on my bike (hopefully). Need to blow all the cobwebs away and get some exercise. DH went to work this am but should be back by midday so will then get on my bike and go and do the bits and peices of food shopping for the weekend. WM on its first load, sunny but cold and windy here in W Sx today. Might take the bike route along the beach to get to town that should blow the cobwebs away thoroughly, cos if its this windy inland its going to be reaaaaly windy along the coastlline but the view is gorgeous so i'll brave the rest.
Hope you all have a good weekend, will be back later. Dinner tonight is leftover roast beef and pasta and any other stuff lurking in the fridge that needs using up. A bit of a lash up as my mil used to call it. Catch up with u later.Proud to have dealt with my debts. Nerd number 288:j Debt free date Dec 07 :EasterBun

Morning Everyone?
Hope you are all doing well.
Its beautiful here in Glasgow, but cold. Have a terrible headache and sore neck this morning, and Im very very tired.
Not planning on doing very much today except Dh, kids and I are going to take a drive to Lanark. There is a lovely big loch there, where the kids can run about daft, and I can get a big of excercise by walking round it, AND there is a big farmers market there on a Monday, so, DH is going to showme howto get to it. Lanark isnt too far away from me, so, hopefully, it will be easy to find (im terrible with directions). My friend says there is also a great butchers there, so, Im going to have a look.
Will do some baking later, cos, I need to practise, my baking skills are not very good.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all,
Haven't been around for a bit as I've been adjusting to the new job etc. It's working out really well - 4hrs Mon am, 4hrs Weds am and 2hrs Fri am - but it's flexible so next week I'm working Tues as ds2 has half term on Mon. It's bookkeeping which is fine - but I'm having to find my way around Sage a/cs as I haven't used them before. Funnily enough I'm finding I'm more motivated to do the house etc now I have less time to do it.
We had enchiladas last night - way to use up a very small amount of l/o chicken - no way was it going to feed 4 people, until combined in a chilli sauce with beans etc, stuffed into HM tortillas, topped with a bit of grated cheese and baked. It was yummy and good reviews all round. The tortillas were much easier to make than I thought, no hydrogenated fat and I made them half wholemeal - and SOOO much cheaper than bought ones.
Going to the farmers market this morning if it's on - will drag the kids out of bed in a minute. Dh is watching the foootie later and we'll have a quiet night in - were out at the church panto last night with 12 Beavers - and it didn't finish till after 10.
Dinner tonight - HM steak pie (l/o casserole from Weds):D , jacket potatoes, cauliflower cheese, carrots and peas.
Have a good day everyone.
PS - Have a good time, CM and Pen-Pen
Hope your day gets better soon, Catowen

Another HM tortilla convert! I need to do a stash this weekend. Has anyone frozen the HM variety yet?
My last lot were herb and garlic. Did the tortilla beany bake from Veg soc website last night and it was good, I'm not even that fond of tortillas!

Morning all. (((hugs))) to those who need or want one. Enjoy the wedding Penpin. Have a lovely day cm & penpen.
Well, I don't know what's wrong with our cat today, but in the night he decided to wee in his food bowl-I know he's getting old, but he has a cat flap and he has been known to wake the household to say he needs to go out-so I'm a bit baffled by this one.
OH was up late this morning, so he did a bit of moaning and whining. He's out for the day now, so I had better get organised and do some cleaning and tidying!!!GE 36 *MFD may 2043

tru I have golfer's elbow. Don't know how I got that as I don't play golf (:D) don't suppose you know the posh medical term for that. Make the best of doing nothing and if anybody asks, tell them its medical recuperation.
Smokybabe thinking of you and yours.
catowen ((((hugs)))) to you and your poor DD. Hope she feels better today. You did well to clean the mess up during the night. Strange thing with me, I could clean vomit up during the day no problem but wake me up to do it and I would just add to mess.(Sorry, tmi) Hope you have now had your fair share of disasters.
Kathy boss's wife and I were talking about how much prices have shot up in supermarkets. It's really concerning me as I haven't had a salary increase for three years now. Thankfully I'm getting better at cooking on a budget. Don't know what state I would be in if it wasn't for this site.
jackie w my family and I spent many a Sunday afternoon at Lanark Loch when I was growing up. I now take my DS and DD there when we visit my family. They love it as much as I did. Have a great day out.
donny-gal enjoy spending quality time with your DS.
Well, my plans for the start to half-term have been scuppered. DS's best friend from primary school phoned last night so he is off to the cinema with him and the other lad that made up their group at PS. I'm really pleased that he has kept in touch with them as they all went to different high schools and all live in different areas. They are lovely lads so I'm happy that he is spending the day with them.
DD wants to go ten-pin bowling. This may be the day to do it as DS isn't keen.
Stripped my bed when I got up and the bedset is now in the WM. Will hang it out in a mo as it is a gorgeous, sunny, frosty morning here.
Right time for tea. Have a super sunny Saturday. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Morning!
Yet another lovely day here, bright but freezing cold, WM is on with all bedding, I have half cleaned the kitchen just need to hoover and mop the floors in there. Have mr t's coming before 11am so I will carry on cleaning til they arrive. OH is working today so I can get on without him under my feet:rolleyes:
I need to ebay a load of stuff too but I find it such a long winded process to upload pictures and write about what it is I am selling, there must be an easier way
I am starving this morning so I might just go and have a boiled egg and a cuppa before I do anything else.
I hope you all have a good day.0
