Yes, you can freeze cheese.
In our house cheese never lasts long.
Cheese will keep quite a while and if it does go moldy, just cut the outside off if it is a hard cheese.

Thanks for the replies.Grated it up and put it in the freezer. Normally cheese does not last long but this got pushed behind something else and got missed.0
