    Evening everyone,

well i`m well and truly cream crackered.
This has got to be the cleanest lounge and kitchen i have ever seen in my life! I even washed and polished the suite (leather) and cleaned the radiators and moved all but one item of furniture. The one i left was the pc unit as that will have to be moved soon when i need to unplug all the wires to get into the case.

My hated kitchen actually looks well for once and i picked up a couple of tips on here for cleaning the venetian blind (socks on hands) and the sealant around the window which are two things that i have put off doing for a lot longer than i should have :o

My poor old knees are hurting from kneeling on the work surface though which is one of the reasons why it`s not been done for so long.
I realised not long ago that i`ve not actually eaten anything at all today
and have survived solely on frequent cups of tea and we will be eating quite late tonight so i need to have a snack methinks.
The hounds will need to go for their walk soon and then i shall treat myself to a lovely hot soak in the bath to unwind and get the vinegar out of my hair from sloshing it around the kitchen today :rotfl:

By the time DH arrives home from w**k with copious amounts of wine i shall be feeling a lot better, hope i don`t just fall asleep as i`ve not actually spent more than half an hour with him all week, i need a relaxing night in front of the television.
Off to walk the monkeys then.
Have a great evening everyone and Happy Birthday Webitha :bdaycake:

  • Evening Guys!

I have a cold and feel lousy! The last 2 days have been awful and we are going to a wedding tomorrow which I can't miss.

In the past 2 days all that has been done is 2 loads of washing and something to eat last night. We got Mcdonald vouchers through this morning and have sent OH out with DD to get that for dinner.....and thats not like me! Luckily the cleaners were here yesterday, so at least the house is clean.

DD broke up from school today, so she has next week off. Planning to go to the zoo if I can make it, cinema, dinner out (have a voucher) and DD is buying a hamster:eek:      ....we have so many dead animals in our back garden now...and she wants to be a zoologist:D  :rotfl:

Anyway, not stopping as I need another cold/flu tablet.

    Hugs to all in need.

    PP

Oh PennyPincher, what a shame! Isn't this the wedding where you'll be staying in that ruinously expensive hotel? Hope you feel better soon. Keep taking the tablets;) :D

Yeap! We're leaving early so I can have a soak before the wedding starts. Ive spoken with the wedding co-ordinator and she has said we can get in the rooms by 9.30am if we need too.

My nose will probably be running and red in the pictures:rolleyes: ...lucky me!

Well, I took my friend Em and we went to Dunelm, why do I go to that place, I only wanted a second set of nets and ended up spending £30.

We needed new pillows, some of the ones we have on the bed are grotty to say the least, so I bought 2 for £9.99, then a scented candle (which is burning now and smells loverly) the nets, a pack of cloths, they used to be 10 for 99p now 6 for 99p. Em treated us to a coffee and large piece of cake.....thats my diet out the window for this week. We did enjoy ourselves though, she is always so grateful if anyone takes her out....

I forgot yesterday I saw a floaty suit in Bon Marche, shades of very pale pink, apricot and pale coffee.....was not sure about it, but OH saidI could wear it for the Presidents Day and then take it to Florida for a smart outfit........so I bought it.

Mad Mo was in the sitting room when we called in to see the progress on the kitchen, its finished apart from the door being put back on and the electrics, the chaps have done a great job and within the time frame too...better than the porch, which is still awaiting its door and windows and finishing off. Mo was trying to clean a blob of emulsion panit off a chair with flash liquid. I did not say anything, just walked past her..........I just cannot trust myself to speak to her, just not sure if she is deaf daft stupid or all three!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think everyone had given up with her and are just letting her get on with things, the cleaner was muttering under her breath this morning, only caught a few words, but gather she was not pleased about something..............

OH complaining again about his chest pain, asked if he wanted me to call the paramedics, reply unprintable!!!! so retired to the sitting room, he knows its muscular, but I think he likes winding me up. Men are such babaies when they get a pain, good job they don't have to have babies!!!!!

Wrap up warm folks, its going to be cold tonight and tomorrow, the griters are ou on our country roads.

Going to see mt frind who had her knee replaced tomorrow, she seems to be going on ok, but will know a bit more when I see her.

    Right off for drinky poos..................
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

    Evening everyone.

Not got anything exciting to report, i finally scrubbed the kitchen floor and have put some sealent thing on it, so hoping it will stop the dirt getting stuck on these rubbish council cheap floor tiles as bad as it normal does..hence reason i put of cleaning it as long as possible.
