Good Morning All
As others have said - thinking about you and your family Smokey and hope you have some better news today.
Hester - I love Jam and Jerusalam.
Yesterday was a momentous day in that I cleared the ironing mountain range :j . Also back log of paperwork.
Today I have a little office work to do. Need to drop DS off at footie training then will be popping to Makro so stock up on toilet roll, kitchen roll and washing powder. Had a massive Tesco delivery last night - £194's worth so hopefully that will keep us going with small top ups for the next 6 weeks. Managed to get 3 three range chickens in there so our local shop obviously has a good stock of them.
Probably will clean the bathrooms when home, more washing to be done and will be keeping on top of the ironing. DD is having a friend over for a sleepover tonight which I hate but it will keep her happy.
Think is shepherds pie for dinner tonight.
Have a good one.

Smoky - thinking of you
Well I have to say yesterday's "five minute catch up" - which lasted an hour - was a waste of time. Basically I've been told I must strive to be permanently happy and not be tired - even though I get up at 4am for work. And they'd like to see me give up all social aspects of my life so I only care about work:mad: NOOOOOOO!!!
Anyhooo, got a lovely weekend planned. Staying with my sis and BIL tonight. Lots of vino and silliness. THen heading to Brighton tomorrow to have foot reflexology before having lunch with my closest and oldest friend. And on Sunday I have free tickets to a Chinese New Year event. So busy, busy - and no work:rotfl:
Mum's yougov cheque arrived yesterday and we got a load of Dominoes Pizza vouchers. Don't think we'll be using them though as you have to spend £30 or £50:eek: I couldn't eat that much pizza!!!
Done most of my daily clicks, off to explore the competitions and freebies boards now.
Hope everyone's okComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
Morning all..

Smoky - hope your OH's getting better... love & hugs to the you and the family...
I'd better get ready for work now I spose...
Hope you all have a good day xx0 -
hello everyone
today is my last sick day before going back to w**k on Monday. It's been lovely joining in the thread this week and now I have to leave (although I might pop along in the evenings from now on, but not much motivation to sit in from of the PC after having done so all day at w**k though). Dare I say, I'm almost looking forward to some real (as opposed to virtual) human contact after my fortnight in solitary confinement, but I will miss you all as the human contact at w**k invariably involves a liberal sprinkling of negativity, b1tching and conflict whereas there is none of that here :A .
Today I am feeling right as rain (still a little tired though) and raring to go for some decluttering and getting stuff done. As luck would have it, a charity bag came through the door yesterday, it's crying out to be filled!
Got some friends coming over tomorrow, looking forward to that. So many of our friends having babies at the moment, including them, but it's not quite our time to join in  yet. Ho-hum.
Have good days all - it's been a pleasure and a privilege to have been made to feel so welcome on the thread this week.

Morning :hello:
Smokey
I went to upload some pics onto the pc yesterday and nothing happened, the rabbit has chewed through the lead  I went to fix it and I've never seen such a complicated mass of wires in one skinny little lead. Being as mean as I am, I refused to throw it away and buy a new one so I settled down with insulation tape and tweezers. An hour and a half later, I had a skinny lead with a big lump in the middleBut it works, so YAY me
Outlaws-in-Scotland news - BIL and SIL have split up so BIL is back here and FIL is arriving some time today  BIL drove the lorry back, we thought it was the same size small lorry that FIL's stuff went up in so we offered to unload it this morning. Just found out it's a different, much bigger lorry and they've filled it with a lot more stuff than what went up there in the first place  BIL does powerlifting, all his gym stuff has to be unloaded, how the eff do they expect me to unload weights that heavy?
My biz has been suffering lately, I don't drive so when we're out and about in the car on fridays (mr tru's day off), we pick up/drop off things that I can't do on a bus. His family (and other people) have very much got in the way of that lately - and that's when they're 600 miles away. Now they're back here, it's going to get worse.Bulletproof0 -
Good morning everyone,
Had a lie in this morning, as i have a day off!!! This is lovely, cos i will be able to spend the last day of the holidays with my 2 (although DD is at a party this afternoon at 4, so DS and i will go and do some shopping and have something to eat together, which will be nice) but at the moment i could do with the money, but never mind, time with my 2 is more important to me!
So, behind with my clicks now, but im in no hurry - WM is on, although it is looking grey outside - if it doesnt rain i think i will still stick it out. Als need to put the BM on, but will finish my cuppa and do that whilst the kettle is boiling for my second cup of the day!
Have an old computer that i need to take to the dump, was going to freecycle it, but it wont work so unfortunatly it has to go - whilst doing that will pop to the bank, must get those bills paid today or i will be getting charges!
Smokey - hinking of you and your family, all our prayers are with you xxx
mrs-mix :hello: - make sure you keep using your drops!!!

Morning everyone
elona - thank you so much for the info - I think we will go on monday - I hear there's some sort of discount thingy on kellogs cereals - will check that out today. This alone will send dd11 delirious with exctiement as she generally lives on tesco value and whole foods - I think the colours on the packet will be enough to give her a high
Thinking of smoky - has anyone heard from her.

Hi everyone,
In bed with the laptop again this morning, but decided to just bring hot drink, not full brekkie! No SAD lamp either. I plugged it in to charge yesterday and after a few mins smelt burning. Smoke was coming out of it. Rang Amazon who has supplied it and they said they would send a new one for me. I asked about express delivery and they said because the original one was bought with express delivery, this one would have it too, Should be here by 1pm, so here's hoping. I was anxious about this, as I need my light therapy every day and the weeather is iffy here again. Even more pleased because it cost nearly £200, though I had some vouchers, I see the price is down to £170, shame I had purchased too long ago to take advantage of Amazon cashback if price goes down! Never mind, just grateful that they are being so obliging over this,
Lots of jobs planned for today, cooking, baking, housework, paperwork. You know how it is. Last day of half term which is a shame, have enjoyed the relaxed pace this week.
Have a good day all."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"
