Morning everyone.
Not been on for a few days, so i hope you are all ok and have been being good????
Had another busy start to the week, trips to bank, post office, doctors, chemist and quit group all now completed, got a huge basket of items listed on ebay yesterday and the house is generally tidy.
Have plasters coming on friday to skim my bedroom and make a alcove in ds2+3 room so i can fit a wardrobe in it to give them more space, they are having new beds and wardrobes and finally having there room decorated after being here 4 years!! Plus it will be the first time iv ever had paint on my bedroom walls, beacuse we always sort the kids out and never seem to get round to sorting our room out, we just end up with the kids old furniture all miss matched and jumbled. But with all the cash im saving from not smoking (almost 4 weeks now!!) we are having a old fashion country type themed bedroom, cream walls and lots of crisp white bedding and little pink flowers everywhere!!! Cant wait!!!
Right im off to have a coffee and then have a hoover up and maybe and thats a big maybe clean the kitchen floor!!!!
Hugs to all
Donna

Have a lovely day everyone

Morning all
Hope everyone is ok today, (((hugs))) to those who need them.
Woohoo!!! the tenant has finally shifted his backside and moved out :j :j :j though the 'teatime' for the keys was actually 10.30pm  but anyway, hes gone now and OH and his dad are making a start todayI've been told to stay well away until all the big work is done because of all the dust etc so i'm sulking lol. I'm raring to go and do something and somehow channelling that energy into my ironing pile doesn't have the same appeal :rotfl:
We had parents evening last night and we're so proud, DD is on the 'Gifted and Talented' register and is top of her classI managed to wait until i got to the car to have a little cry lol (damn hormones!) but i am so proud of her. We got chips for tea on the way home so she was very excited. She also had a lovely time on her school trip.
Right i'm off on my travels now to find a stiff yard brush, a crowbar (no i promise not to beat our ex-tenant with it :rotfl: ), pay money into the bank, nip to Asda and the library so i'll be back later on
Have a good day all

Just a quickie now, we have a coffee morning at 10am. Its another lovely morning, but due to change according to the forecast.
Not sure what we are doing apart from the coffee.............not betting that OH will want to go for a walk at some point, no wonder I have a job to get things done.
I did manage to clean yesterday afternoon, so did not get any sewing done again!!!

Morning everyone :hello:
Good luck at the hospital Jackie. Not a pleasant procedure but I'm sure it will help in the long run.
Hope you're taking it easy Mrs Mix.
Glad you finally have a diagnosis Jayward.
Happy Anniversary for tommorrow Pen Pen and Aussie.
(will OH be getting you an iron to match your kettle and toaster Aussie?)
Shez, my washing is regularly as stiff as a board.
I've been working all week and lurking on the daily.I'm a bit behind with the housework and cooking as OH has gone into mad DIY mode and ripped down the kitchen and bathroom ceilings at the weekend to install new lights. I'm sure it will be worth the disruption.
I managed to freecycle 2 bookcases and a filing cabinet so the upstairs at least is looking a bit clearer.
The girls are off for half term from tommorrow so we're planning a few cheap days out, and if this glorious weather holds up we may take a day trip accross to Mull.
Tea tonight is salmon mornay (meal plan has gone to pot due to lack of access in the kitchen) with cauliflower, peas and baked spuds. Might even manage some baking this afternoon as girls are going swimming with their Grandad.
Take care everyone

A few children here today, but all will be gone by 2 today, thats when we will walk DS to his friends as he is off to a party - so just DD and me home this afternoon which will be lovely. No idea what we will do, but want to do something with her.
I have had a big sort out this morning, so now have a huge box of stuff for a car boot, and another box full of stuff to put on ebay - hopefully will get some of that sorted today so i can turbo list it tomorrow. Also put DDs old computer on freecycle, so hopefully that will go soon, and i will have a bit more space in my bedroom.
Dinner tonight will be HM fish fingers with HM chips and veg.
Hope everyone has a lovely day,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0
