Hello everyone!

Sorry I havent read yesterdays thread either:o Yes its cold and frosty here, but the suns come out now!:D I left some washing on the line last nite, so hope its not all "stiff as a board" :rotfl: I used to remember as a kid my mum bringing the jumpers in - like cardboard! I dont think we get it that cold nowadays do we?

Yesterday was running around various Argos' getting the kids birthday pressies in their "clearance" - saved loads of money!:D

Got to print some photos today for my mum to take to my brother in Australia - just over a week before she goes!

Chalky75/DG - was watching "The Art of Spain" prog last nite - with the lovely Alhambra, etc.

thanks for the hugs yesterday i needed them still feel rough but the antibiotics are working but I now have some sort of infection in my eye so a trip to the docs today

Freezing here in Essex am off up to London to the British Museum in a bit not sure whats there but need to get the kids out.
DD2 is off to stay with a friend tonight after a presentation at Sainsbugs as the scouts raised money by bag packing there late last year so loads of running about as usual

Hello everyone :wave:

I had a monster sleep - 10pm to 7am and am feeling vastly improved on yesterday. I'm off w**k this week recovering from surgery (for anyone who haven't seen the last 2 days' threads and are wondering where I popped up from!). I've vowed not to watch c**p TV for the whole week and so far I haven't switched it on at all in the day time (different story when DH gets home of an evening, got backlog of ER to watch!). I've been reading, taking gentle walks and doing a bit of cooking.

I'm currently savouring my big mug of tea :coffee: as I've discovered that DH had cereal this morning and has left almost no milk :mad: . I've got some out of the freezer but it'll be hours before there's sufficient meltage for another hot drink *sigh*.

Got my friend stopping from last night but she's still in bed after downing 2 cans of larger and a small bottle of brandy:eek: our other friend who we visited last night drank 2 bottles of red wine by herself! I was the only sober one as I'm teetotal.

off to a staff meeting later - typical on my day off:rolleyes: still I'll get T.o.i.l for it.
weigh in tonight at SW - only got 1 pound to lose till I get to my target but I havent been able to shift it the last few weeks!fingers crossed for me;)

First episode of the new series of House back on tonight. No I don't want to know about what's happening thank you very much. I will find out all by my little self. Off to have a shower and get cosy in front of the TV. Keep warm. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

JackieO, good luck at the hospital. I love Herne Bay, I'm from just outside Canterbury originally and we used to go fossil hunting out on the flats on the few days of the years the tide was really low.

Its really icy here too, I went running for the bus this morning and ended up sliding down the road on my backside :rotfl: No harm done, but I felt a bit of a dipstick! Just got out of a meeting - never have I hoped for a powercut quite as much... :rotfl: have a good day everyone, celyn x

Morning All

JackieO - Good Luck at the hospital today.

Yes its freezing here but lovely and sunny at the mo.

Had a lie in then caught up with emails and surveys. Have paperwork to do but its not a huge amount so will probably leave that till later and concentrate on the ironing today.

Not going out today as DD needs to monitor her liquid in and out. Have left a jug in the toilet and hope she remembers when she gets up. Its not fun but at least we will get it over and done with.

Certainly hope to clear the ironing mountain range today so can do housework tomorrow as it really needs it.

Not sure but think might have caulifower cheese for tea with macaroni cheese for the kids.
