  • I'm trying to make the most of LoopholeLarry's Vodafone deal, but am coming up against a wall of confusion and disbelief when I explain the £150 cashback bit to the sales people in my local Vodafone stores. (The best her manager could offer was 3 month's half price line rental - a meagre saving of £22.50 reducing it to an equivalent of £13 per month over a year)

Could someone help out and post (or PM me) with any more information about which stores have done the deal and how they have done it.

    Thanks in advance! :D

Does anyone know if you are in a contract and you change address, how easy/quick is it to do this? Does it depend on the provider? TIA!!

i went to 2 vodafone stores in central london..1st a sale man informed me that it works and he can gave 150£ on the contract, and whne i come back after 30min to do the contract he ws not there and another sale man confirmed me that its not possible, and that there's a new policy, even arguing that juste 30min before he's colleague was ready to do the contract..but no way!!
the 2nd store also in central london they said no way! new policy dont allow that now..
in my opinion its almost a sale refuse! as in the 1st instance i had a look in their system when the 1st sale man was showing me the offers, and i saw the 150£ credit!!

the best you can have is 90£ via quidco or you can call their sales and have a 50£ credited in your account in 3 months after full paying your bills.
  • Hello all,

I have recently moved house and there is no BT line. As they want £125 for connection and we may only be there 6-12 months, I don't fancy paying that much for it. All we would use the phone line for is Broadband, so it would cost £11 per month line rental, £15 per month broadband and assuming we stayed their 12 months would be £10 a month for the connection cost (£125 roughly spread over 12 months).

£36 quid a month is expensive, so I figured we could get a PAYG mobile broadband package to hook up to the computer. Has anyone got any experience of these? From what I have read they are very hit and miss. We will only use it web browsing and my g/f will probably download a couple of songs now and again. I can't go without internet as I need it for work.

Can anyone shed some light, or would I be better off taking the plunge with the BT line?

    Thanks,
    Craig.

Just get a bluetooth dongle and an old 3 mobile. Cost you £5 for an internet add-on.
I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.

  • Why is this site still promoting 3.

The mobile network is total !!!!!! and so is the broadband.

3 months after getting a contract from them, I stopped using the phone because it was so bad. So 3 got 9 months line rental without doing anything. And I was in central london.

I can't believe that the front page of moneysavingexpert is promoting such a bad company. Every user is going to lose out on this.

Hi I got Vodafone mobile broadband for £15 a month - only got it yesterday but the speed is quite good, I was expecting it to be a lot slower as the reviews I had read were hit and miss. I am apparently in a good signal area for the vodafone mobile broadband and so far so good! my advice would be to go on the mobile broadbands websites, find a good deal that suits you and check your coverage. u usually get a few days to change your mind if you arent happy (i got an email saying 14 days)
