I can't believe how many ratings I've got in like an hour of submitting!

I think this is going to get addictive! Must find something else to review! :D

I thought it was brilliant nominated it for a crown looking forward to the next one.

  • Think I have everyone added as a friend now, anyone I've missed could they add me and I'll reciprocate. There was one or two that didn't show up on the search but I'm knackered now after 4 hours rating reviews and can't face looking up their names. sorry

    Now there's an idea! :p

How do you think I came to review Tesco spreadable butter? :D

Another thing to do is make suggestions, you can do this from your account page - if the thing you want to review is not listed. I did this for a campsite I went to as I really wanted to review it. You also get 10 points for suggesting a new product.
  • Is it common for people to contact you after you rate a review?

I just had a message from someone asking why I had rated a review as "useful" when everyone else had rated is a "extremely useful". I hadn't left a comment - I don't always as I sometimes feel the rating is sufficient but I was really surprised to be asked for feedback as to why I found it merely useful.

I have received lower ratings myself for my reviews and wouldn't dream of sending a message asking someone why so I was surprised to receive this.

Or am I missing something

I had that as well from someone before and then I explained why, and they got all !!!!y with me and sent a nasty reply. And I had someone else give me retaliatory "not useful" feedback because for the first time I deemed their review to be not useful. I am there to make money but also to help people out and am alays honest. Some people take it too seriously.

Yes...I am always honest too...and I generally only read reviews for products or services I am familiar with or have an interest in so I feel I can rate a review fairly.

The person did reply today and seems to have taken it in good spirit - I will no doubt get a retaliatory "not useful" for the one review I have rated thus - which I did because it truly wasn't useful in my opinion.

There are some really good reviews on there however and I am trying not to take it all too seriously - for me its a nice way to pass the time by doing some reading and writing with a small reward at the end of it :D

I love dooyoo, although not been on it in ages. I said I would stack up about £100 and get a cheque sent out, but me being me I was amazed when I got 10000 points and cashed in for a amazon voucher which I have not yet recieived! Been more than 10 days, will contact them again tomorrow.

But now I am going back to getting lots and lots of points! I will trawl though this thread tomorrow and add you guys! My username is chrismoore1800.... I wanted something different, but I went for my lame'ness username.

Anyway bed for me... Night :)

I'm still waiting too but they are genuine because I have received a voucher before. Just slow atm it seems.

I love the whole place, everyone is really nice there except some people get really sniffy if you do a review for a CD without the tracklist lol.

Not sure, I read somewhere on this thread that it takes longer than vouchers. I was going to save up my points for a cheque, but I got to 30,000 points and got impatient so cashed them in for Amazon vouchers, mainly because so many of these things that I join seem to go wrong and I wanted to make sure I got something for my hard work! I'm not saying that anything will happen to Dooyoo but that's just me being wary of new ventures!

I'm still waiting for my last voucher though for £10 that I ordered a week ago.

Oh OK, I will wait another week before contacting them then. I got my first one for £30 within 3 or 4 days. I guess I am just a bit sceptical of things! I've got enough for another £10 now but I think I will wait until I have received this one before claiming for another one.
