If you go into "Help" and then "Dooyoo miles - Earn Cash", it explains that Speakers' Corner reviews (that is any Discussion subject) do not get 500 points - this I guess is because they are basically opinion and ramblings, which might be interesting but are not related to a product directly.

If someone rated your Discussion thoughts as useful however, you do get the usual 15 miles (1.5p). Reviews of businesses are treated in the same way as products, 500 points if they meet the word count.

Still confused. I went to the help section that Getting-Sorted-Sarah told me about. But there all it says is that you get 500 points for 'each new review', nothing about the subject matter.

The only thing is it says 'express' reviews do not earn points. But it doesn't say what an express review is. I assumed it meant 'express' in the sense of quick, ie less than 150 words. Or does it mean 'express' in the sense of expressing an opinion, ie discussion? It's really not clear. I just don't want to waste time and effort writing reviews and get no points at the end of it (you might not believe it but I actually do take ages to write my reviews!)

1. What are dooyooMiles?

dooyooMiles are the reward points that dooyoo gives you for participating in the site. You earn dooyooMiles by writing reviews and when a review you have posted on the site is read by another dooyoo member. Each Premium review that you write will earn you 500 dooyooMiles and each reading is worth 15 dooyooMiles.
Reviews in Speakers Corner are handled a little differently, these do not earn the 500 dooyooMiles bonus, but will accrue dooyooMiles when they are read by other members.
The only other exception to this rule and that is for reviews posted in our Archive section. Products in this section are usually out of date and therefore will not accrue dooyooMiles. If you want to write about a product that is listed in our Archives, but you believe it is still current, please contact the dooyoo Team.
You will also receive dooyooMiles for suggesting new products for the dooyoo product catalogue. You will receive 10 dooyooMiles for every suggestion, but make sure you write the reviews for the products you've suggested or we will stop accepting your suggestions!

• 30 dooyooMiles are worth 3p

Yes, Express means less than 150 words - like 'This is carp - don't buy it' !!!

I think it is a bit confusing - "Speakers' Corner' actually refers to anything that is a Discussion - so anything not referring to a business, a product - although reviews of places, like 'Shopping in Brighton' seem to count.

Hi guys. Thanks to everyone again who is rating my reviews. I am trying to get thorough everyone. I try and go through my whole circle of friends once a day and rate any new reviews. Not going to have a lot of time today or tomorrow, but will see what I can get done. If not,I will pick them all up on Tuesday and also add all you guys that have added me to your circle.

Well I did think there was a big backlog! But I'm paranoid and always think these sort of things are too good to be true so let me know what they say. I shall email them 2moro when 10 days are gone because I'm not sure they count weekends. Thanks anyway

Its just tempting to write lots of reviews as its easier to acculilate the cash that way lol.
Maybe i should set up a different account and do that? And keep this one for being me so to speak? I need cash asap haha

Is it common for people to contact you after you rate a review?

I just had a message from someone asking why I had rated a review as "useful" when everyone else had rated is a "extremely useful". I hadn't left a comment - I don't always as I sometimes feel the rating is sufficient but I was really surprised to be asked for feedback as to why I found it merely useful.

I have received lower ratings myself for my reviews and wouldn't dream of sending a message asking someone why so I was surprised to receive this.

Or am I missing something
