I've just been round there to take a look and theres no day on it apart for the days and the last collection times, at the top. There is a sticker stuck over part of it to say that they won't collect on sundays anymore but i can't see what was origionally under it. I've tried ot go on Royal Mails website but its down so i'm not sure what to do?? Should i just pick a random day for the 'what day is displayed on the post box tablet?' question??

I have a couple of boxes which don't display the day - when you go to input it, in the drop down list it gives each day of the week annd an option which says something like 'none of these' , so I use that.

I got a packet today that was bulked up with lots of blank A4 paper.. can I keep this or do I need to return that with the insert too?? (or am I being REALLY stingy :p )

I would say that you are to return this to them as it is part of the test.

Pity they dont do a survey on how often Post Offices over charge people.. i.e charge packet rate when item qualifies as large letter.

Im due to do the two week 6.00 voucher thing ,,,, is it different tasks.

At any point do you have to go into the post office to post anything? not in the postbox but OVER THE COUNTER?

    Thanks in advance

I havent had to to and I have been with them for over 6 months now.

I had this on Saturday... I even queried it with the assistant, how small does it have to be to be a large letter, coz I knew it was well small enough:rolleyes:
she got out the template and said smaller than this... which it was... and has to fit thru this gap she says and didnt try, it will fit thru if you push it I said.... she wouldnt even try, hence 80p extra charged.. whats in it for her I wonder???:confused: I have been to other PO's that have squashed air out of stuff and said it will fit and charged large letter rate... its a right rip off!!!!!!!!!!!
  • i got sacked from here last wee because i posted a letter a day early by mistake!
