    Quick one..

Just new to this, have set up my postbox but when i enter the ones i send via post office it only gives the option of picking the post box rather than a post office.

    Am i doing this wrong?

    Hi

It will only show the postbox outside the postoffice if you have registered it. It won't show a post office. When you post at the post office you can post it in the box outside.

When it asks you to post at the post office, it means in the postbox outside
  • Anyone else having problems signing into the website? I aint been able to access it for over a day, Im sure others would have said if they couldnt.

I started noticing last night things slowing down, certain websites that used to load now no longer do. Tried pinging them and still time out.

There may be a problem somewhere on the Net but I'll need to narrow it down before I report it to my ISP.

I had the same last month but got the stamps .If you're on holiday next week you normally get them sent in a small envelope on their own.

    James

Thats really good to know - I wondered how this would happen.
I seemed to remember getting the stamps before the date mentioned on the website (with the letters to go out that week) and thought they were therefore 'overdue' - so wanted to check with you all that they hadn't come yet.

    Today's question:

    8. What is thrown in the Olympics weighing 4lb 6oz?

I think the answer is Discus, but on Wikipedia it says that the discus for the men's event weighs 4lb 7 oz! It is definitely not the hammer or the shotput. Can anyone confirm the answer?

I just googled it and came up with a pub quiz website that said it IS the discus. Whether you want to trust a pub quiz or not is up to you :D

Although I can't think what else it could be

I've just tried to sign up but was rejected as we have an entry phone to our tenement block. Apparently the postman has to be able to deliver the post when it's ready without any obstacles getting in his way.

Sadly this is the main problem with our post - the postie hasn't been buzzing all the flats and so we often don't get post even when we're in all day (& not just because nobody sent us any!), and then the mail doesn't get redelivered for a few days. So I'd been hoping to sign up to try and get an idea of how often this is happening and to help RM understand the problem.

    Very disappointing.
