I haven't heard anything from them in a while- i've filled in all the online parts correctly, posted everything where I was meant to, and haven't had any emails saying my services are no longer required. Any ideas what's going on?
It is nothing to worry about, as MrsMop says you could e-mail them and ask. For the past two weeks, I have had only three items to post and recieved only two, I think that they don't need to monitor my postcode area as much, more than likely it may apply to you too.
    Like good food and drink?
    Try Hotel Chocolat and Baileys.

    Today's question
How many sports are included in this years summer Olympics?

I am getting two answers come up depending on where you look.
    1. 27 sports
    2. 38 sports.

How do you work out which one is right?
Thanks for any help and advice given

Taken from the official website of the olympics:

Summer sports: Aquatics Archery Athletics Badminton Baseball Basketball Boxing Canoe / kayak Cycling Equestrian Fencing Football Gymnastics Handball Hockey Judo Modern pentathlon Rowing
Sailing Shooting Softball Table tennis Taekwondo Tennis Triathlon Volleyball Weightlifting Wrestling So that's 28 right?? I'm confused as athletics is obviously classed as 1 sport only!!

If you look at the Beijing Olympic website schedule its 38, same when you click on the Sports link:

    Archery
    Athletics
    Badminton
    Baseball
    Basketball
    Beach Volleyball
    Boxing
    Canoe/Kayak Flatwater
    Canoe/Kayak Slalom
    Cycling BMX
    Cycling Mountain Bike
    Cycling Road
    Cycling Track
    Diving
    Equestrian
    Fencing
    Football
    Gymnastics Artistic
    Gymnastics Rhythmic
    Trampoline
    Handball
    Hockey
    Judo
    Modern Pentathlon
    Rowing
    Sailing
    Shooting
    Softball
    Swimming
    Synchronized Swimming
    Table Tennis
    Taekwondo
    Tennis
    Triathlon
    Volleyball
    Water Polo
    Weightlifting
    Wrestling

They've asked a pretty stupid question because you can group all the cycling events together or they can be separate, same with volleyball being grouped with beach volleyball. The IOC says 28 so I'm inclined to go with that.

I filled in the survey last week and got 'accepted' and was looking forward to receiving my 'welcome pack' and have just had this email:

Thank you for your recent participation in the Royal Mail survey conducted by Research International, your contribution has been invaluable.
As you may be aware, we are commissioned by Royal Mail to measure the quality of their service in specific postcode areas, however at present we have more than the required number of panellists in your postcode and unfortunately this means we need to remove you from the panel . We will keep your details on our "Reserve" list in case a space becomes available in your area at which time we would contact you again to see if you are still interested in helping with the survey.
Please do not worry about posting or completing information online for any items you may still have or may receive in the near future. If you can use any of the stationery for your own use then please do.
If you have any questions please call our Freephone Helpline number, or send us an email. Please tell the operator that you are helping with the ‘Royal Mail Postal Survey’.
Once again, thank you for your participation and support with the project.
