i see it every day and i feel like stopping and asking them for an explanation as to why they were doing it when the traffic comes to a stand still,then explain that the traffic has now stopped because of other idiots similar to you causing mayhem further up the motorway causing us to stop.

It seems that you are talking as a driving expert, yet talking utter twaddle, no way is it illegal to drive below the upper speed limit, you should drive to a speed appropriate to the prevailing conditions.

It seems that everyone that has passed a basic driving test all of a sudden becomes an " expert driver " on here.

In the UK we drive on the left and should keep left at all times unless overtaking!

There is no minimum speed limit*, but people can and have been prosecuted for offences such as obstruction of traffic, failing to make good progress, driving without due care etc. etc. If there is no good reason for you not to maintain the posted speed limit, that is the speed you should be travelling at.

Because you're in the way, and how do you know you're doing 70? Your speedometer could easily be reading 5 - 10% fast. You're supposed to drive in the left hand lane except when overtaking; it's a pity motorway driving isn't part of the driving test.

Whats wrong with using the left hand lane if it is empty and other traffic is travelling faster than you?

What a silly woman. If she's afraid of driving why is she driving at all. I think I'd be more afraid of nearly being killed by driving slow on the motorway.

Left lane is for lorries.
Right lane is for BMWs/white vans etc. traveling over 90 mph.

Drive on left lane, every 2 minutes you need to move out to overtake artics.
Drive on right lane. Every 30 seconds you'll be flashed by BMW drivers.

So, where do I drive? Middle lane. Hardly rocket science.
