Good luck for the WI BelfastGirl - is this at home (with the new batteries) or at the gym?

Sounds like you have a good plan of attack!!! And you're just more ambitious than me - similar starting weight...!!! ;)

I'm back on the wagon as much as I can be currently. I put on 6lbs over Christmas :o
Carol Vorderman is keeping tabs on me via my Nintendo ds and I will try and get the wii fit out this weekend. I'm so blasted tired through the week after work.

Ideally I would like to be losing 1lb a week to get me down by about a stone. I think that would be a May deadline??
  • hi, can i join in too. weighing in at 12st 10 on sat 2nd jan, went to slimming world classes last year, but oh lost his job so this was first cut back money wise. all find now and would like to go back to classes. can anyone recommend a class in the east belfast area, did go to castlereagh college but did not think Claire was a good consultant and could not hold the groups attention for long.consultants eleanor or anne are 2 names that seem to be doing the classes near me,
  • Hi everyone and welcome back. WI last night was not fun, 3.5lbs on over Xmas :( although really for how much I ate and how little I exercised I can hardly complain! Anyway back on the wagon now, have had a very sensible breakfast and heading for a lunchtime swim and even have my lunch with me as well :) just need to keep this up for oh another year or so and I might get to target :)

netski I'm doing Slimming World at the mo - happybunny I'm going in South Belfast but tbh wouldn't particularly recommend my consultant - she's very young and delighted that she managed to lose a stone and keep it off  not being mean but i don't think there's anything she can teach me or anyone else in the class for that matter. Sorry!

OK so I would LOVE to have lost the 3.5lb by the end of next week - but I know it's ambitious!! Although I suspect about 1lb was because I'd eaten before WI - stupid I know but I was absolutely starving - so might be in with a chance.

Anyone else got a target for the week?

What about the cheap weight watchers deal mentioned in this weeks MSE email? Sorry - just tried to post the link, but not allowed cos I'm a newbie... Anyway - I'm a sucker for cash back so I've just signed up...

Has anyone else tried ww online? I live in the back of beyond and have 2 wee'uns so its hard to get out to weekly meetings - plus I've sickened myself of slimming clubs over the years - the first unislim was brilliant, but have since been to rosemary conlon, unislim and possibly ww - can't even remember now!! Think I need to try a new angle... :j

  • Hi everyone, how we all doing this cold and frosty morning? I've managed a couple of good days which I'm proud of, weekends are usually a pretty dodgy time for me but DH is away at the minute so no eating out etc. I'm really hoping for a good loss this week since I'm away for next weekend and that always makes things harder.

How's everyone else? And how's the WW going?

Hi belfastgirl! Glad to hear you are doing well, I totally agree - weekends are definately harder!! Thursday's not a great day to start a diet! I admit to having 2 glasses of wine last night and 2 on friday night, but was pretty good foodwise by reducing my portion size and PILING on the vegetables!! At least if you have a weekend away looming, you have a good incentive for this week?

Not so sure about ww... regretting giving my old unislim books away now!! It's a bit overcomplicated.
