  • So first day hasnt started to well at all, I've ate 2 kit kats, 2 muffins (the breakfast type) smothered in butter, ontop of my breakfast, lunch and dinner :o

    Well I'll definately try a big effort tomorrow, if all else fails get the tape out for my mouth!!!

    How's everyone else getting on and what are you all trying to achieve your own personal goals?

    1 slice wholemeal toast and butter (can't eat cereal at 5am!)
    1 pack walkers cheese and onion crisps
    2 slice toast (dry) and grilled haloumi cheese
    3 tablespoons chicken risotto


    toast, cheese and crisps not at all good, will have to make a bigger effort tomorrow :(

    Thats like one sitting to me :eek: No really though, I think I need to retrain my body to eat little portions like you, I am definately eating too much

  • I had a bad day and if that happens I either eat too much or very little. Today was a little eating day :confused:
  • Well my meals were ok. Had porridge with banana for breakfast, wholemeal seedy sandwich with mackeral for lunch, then veg soup for tea. Snacks weren't so good though, had crisps and choc biscuits (lots of). No exercise either as still too sore. Ah well, will try to be better tomorrow.
  • Sorry I was posting on the wrong thread :) not a good start. Can I be club member no 12 please?

    Anyway I'm 5.2 and 12 st 4 I think. This is close to my highest weight ever and I'm not happy about it. My clothes look ridiculous and my knees ache.

    I'm not too bad on exercise - I go to the gym 4-5 times a week. It's eating and drinking that's the problem. Not even in a bingey way most of the time (with the odd exception :)) but just in a 'can't resist a scone even if I'm not hungry' type way.

    So right here I pledge to lose a stone in the next 8 weeks (by 7 April). This will be tough, especially since I'm probably going to be away for work a couple of times, but fingers crossed. I'll think about it again after this but for now I just want to be able to visualise the first stone.

    This means calorie counting and more exercise. Specifically trying to get back to my walking for an hour a day which seems to make the biggest difference of all (walking = time to think = reinforcing good behaviour patterns)

  • count me in too please. I want to lose 3 stone by the end of June. I know I can do it - I have lost more than that in the past on Weightwatchers, it's just getting started that's the problem. I dont want to post my current weight :o but will post my 'loss' every Monday.:D Here's to a summer wearing all the nice but too tight clothes in my wardrobe!
