  • Morning, another one here who has just crawled out of bed!

DH has got a mate over at lunchtime to watch the footie so I want to make sure this place is looking a bit better by then so am going to give myself an hour to see what I can get done.
Then off to my dad's to show him the dvd of our prospective new little one playing with her foster carer.
May just sneak a look at the weekend list to see if there's anything else I should be doing!
Quite fancy a trawl around the charity shops this afternoon then it'll be tackling the ironing.

DS is going to spend a few days with his grandma next week during half term, I am going to miss him.
...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

Sorry if I shocked you Dusty.

Well, one lot of washing on the line. Bed sheets are about to finish and go on the line any moment. Have had a deliciously large fry up for breakfast and have decided to go and meet up with the DFWs on their southern meet today - the venue is only about 20 minutes drive away and the walk will do me and the dog good. It'll be nice to meet up with some fellow MSEers

    Morning everyone.

Galantvr4 Yes it was me who went to Alnwick. I could live there it just feels like my second home. I have a friend who lives in the town and often stay with her for a couple of days.

Looks like everyone has a busy day. Didnt get much sleep last night I just couldnt settle. It happens now and again. Got up made a cuppa and read my book.

Got to pop out to the shops then I do intend to do some flying Pigpen.

Its sunny but very cold here so will dash out and hurry back. The cat is already curled up in the warmest part of the house. Ive got my hosp uniform in the washer then another load to go in when that is finished. Hugs to all who need them and asking the angels to help those who need it.

We've got brilliant sunshine and hard frost here too, and got to venture out as I can walk doogie to her grooming (best take her coat for when she comes out)

Did I tell you that I cleared The Corner Of Doom yesterday? For real this time, I didn't just dream it. And I scrubbed the faffy bit above the kitchen cupboards and washed the ceiling!!! And washed down the top cupboards, well on one side, it's an ongoing project. And then wiped down the fridges, WM and almost everything I could see. So my kitchen is sparkly. Just have to sort the Mini Soon To Be Corner Of Doom and thats that.

Also want to do the living room, well, under and behind the telly and the sofa's and slop on a fresh lick of paint, lots of chipped its, the bottom is that plaster stuff which you just paint on top of.

Car could get a clean too, Hubby is off for a weeks holidays as of 4.30pm today.

My suspicious spot is horrible, looks like a big coldsore on my chin, it's gross and I don't want to go out cos it looks gross! *waily-waily-waily*

:coffee: then off to hoover, think about doing the car and when DS2 wakes up, food then park to tire them out.

Hmmm good intentions and all that. Had a great morning really- was expecting in laws to collect dd this morning but they didn't come till 11.15, which meant I faffed a bit, and spent TOO LONG on here, including finding a beautiful blog to read (http://posy.typepad.com)... this lady lives where I used to live until last summer. Siiiiiiiiigggghhhhhhhh.
Anyway, despite all the procrastination, I have managed:
Washing x2 (one load flapping in the breeze as we speak!)
Emptied DW (Ok not a big job but still...)
    Tidied living room quickly
    Swished upstairs bathroom
    Swished kitchen.

DH is away at work till 4ish and DD out with grandparents till 5 so now I NEED TO GET ON WITH DECLUTTERING THE BOX ROOM SO I CAN HAVE A STUDY!!!!!!!!! (***kicks self hard....***)

Today I absolutely have to get rid of the crap, sort out articles / recipes I want to keep from stash of mags, and make a start on photos.

    Overly optimistic, moi?

Hmmm. Lunch and :coffee: first though...
