Kaz.. you are allowed to buy boots!! I said so!! Found anything you like in that box yet?

Yes the smell, I just sit there with my nose hanging over the edge of the box and inhale very very slowly and deeply - oops sounds like I've done something like this before :rotfl: I love it all, and Monday should bring more!

Very impressed with your flinging. Wish I was brave enough to, everytime I chuck something a fortnight later I want it. Which reminds me i still cant find my piemaker, bet I chucked that

I've got 8 loads of washing now sorted and first one in, but still havent found my list so better go sort something out for tea as I could eat a horse.

Dusty - No not found yet, I think Munch may have got munched by a certain doogie
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

I've felt totally deprived as not been able to get on the site since lunchtime yesterday!

I have however done some flying. I washed all the contents of the washing bag, all the school uniforms, bedlinen from the master bedroom, and the boys' room, and all the towels. That actually meant the washing machine and tumbler were on for the whole day,and the airing cupboard emptied and then refilled. I also vacuumed throughout downstairs.

I took the afternoon off, and went downtown. DS2 had a friend over, and so DD came with me to keep me company while the boys bought sweets and mooched around Game. Moved some money around, treated myself to that Perfect and Protect giftset that I was coveting, with the free gift and got the £5 off and also some points, so very happy. Then some bits and a magazine in Smiths.DD bought some hair colouring and is now alarmingly blonde - she's dark blonde naturally, but now much much lighter!

It's been beautifully sunny here, but very chilly. This morning I took a carload to the tip, and cleared up in front of the garage (where we dumped all the stuff we had to move from the side path when the sofas were delivered.). I spent a very happy hour or so on the allotment after lunch - pretty much the first visit this year. I have now drawn out the cropping plan for this year (this is FUN not flying!) and started clearing weeds from the bed for the early crops, and spreading compost. I am about to start some round carrots in modules, and also some spring onions and lettuce, which will stay in the greenhouse for now, and be planted out late March. I was going to do that after the allotment, but it was so cold outside that I lost enthusiasm!

Tomorrow I'm off to a Snowdrop and Hellebore day at a lovely local large garden, and then plan an afternoon curled up with a book. I'm reading The Memory Keeper's Daughter at the moment.

mudbath - I am so happy to read the good news!

hex - have fun with the greenhouse! I hope it is in a nice sunny position.

pigpen - hugs to you and the little ones. I cried a lot when we lost each of our guinea pigs.

Pink Fairy - Massive congratulations to your husband!

Michelle - while I agree that pregnancy is not an illness, nonetheless, if you don't feel great, then listen to your body, and take it easy. Did you prove to be anaemic? It can make you feel awful - I was each time, and after the first one, just made sure that I had the extra iron earlier in the pregnancy with the other two. I did find it much easier to be a mum the second time round, but my word, that new baby seemed so small after a toddler! I also tended to treat DS1 as much older than he really was, which wasn't really fair to him when he wasn't even two when DD was born, and really still needed to be babied himself.

JillD - lovely to see you back, and more positive as well. Pm anytime if you want a natter. I don't always manage words of wisdom, but I can listen and natter!!

Completely forgot to say that I was paid for three days supply on Friday, and received the first payslip I've had in 17 years this morning! I may very well frame it!!:D

It isn't a huge amount of money, but it did take a bit of courage to go for it, so I'm quite pleased with myself.

On the other hand, wow, don't they take off a lot for tax and National Insurance! I more or less lost one day's pay. I did ring and ask about it, and it seems likely that I did have too much deducted and they also forgot to pay me the extra they promised for the school which was further away. So, I'll have another form to fill in...I'll be getting the tax back anyway I guess, as I shan't earn more than my personal allowance between now and April. By the time I have the tax credits reduced as well, I shall probably be paying them for the privilege of working...

    • Go out with camera as it's set fine and photograph those things I need for the research I'm doing
    • Do a bit of research for chap in Somerset
    • De-poop the back garden
    • Put more stuff on ebay
    • [STRIKE]Tesco[/STRIKE]

Wooohooooo I can get online, stupid stupid computers!!!! (thanks AnWsMum for passing on my hellos) Right, given up trying to read through aswell as remember everything I wanted to say. I see pigpen has spoilt the suprise and told you all she'll be bossing you all about for a little longer yet, because as usual I underestimate how stupidly disorganised I am :o

GG, hugs for you this evening, if your DH is an Arsenal fan he's not going to be in a very good mood tonight.......

DS2s managing to annoy DP almost silently while he's watching the football, being a wiggle bot etc which I am of course finding hilarious. Roll on end of football so he can go to work!

Only good thing about websites not loading for me (just certain ones inc this one) is I got loads done :o Suppose I best go have a look at the weekend list which I was supposed to do last night (but it was broken so ner!!) see if I have done any of it already....doubt it with Pigpen's weird ideas of challenges..
One day I might be more organised...........

    • [strike]Extra 30 minutes ironing.. school uniforms? work clothes?[/strike]not a hope!
    • [strike]Change any bedding you didn't get chance to do over the week![/strike] did it all!
    • Meal plan for the next week and make a shopping list... based on what you found in the freezer and those things that need using from weekly cupboard sweep
    • [strike]spend at least an hour with your family... playing, reading or just watching a dvd and having a hug![/strike] played in garden, done reading and DVD!
    • Work yourself to level 3 in your messiest room!! (I'm going to regret this one!!) Will have to be DS1s room which needs finishing before 4pm tomorrow:eek:
    • [strike]S&S the kitchen and bathroom![/strike]done daily
    • [strike]Make sure you have everything ready for school/work for next week.. pe kits, socks, homework done etc. It is half term for some next week.[/strike]our HT is next week but PE kit, lunch bag, books bag etc now in wash
    • Fill a binbag of things to get rid of.. charity/bin etc does the cushions which all need to go back to Wilkos count :mad:all dropped to bits!
    • [strike]15 minutes hotspots clearing[/strike]will do another tomorrow
Not too bad actually, meal plans definately need doing tomorrow after a rake through the freezer, I did go shopping and get DS2s beans etc today, hoping list will be minimal and what I can just pop to the local shop for. DS1s room also on the major jobs list for tomorrow, we've removed everything from the floor today, just need to rejig all his storage, drag the futon bed out & make it for Mam to use etc.

Bills paying now done, another website I couldn't use last night was the bank one. So much for Npowers estimates at what I'd owe on top of payments made for the final bill, she was only wrong by £150!!! So that was much more to pull out than I'd expected when the bill arrived this morning. My car tax ordered, goodness, all money isn't it...

Dp now naffed off to work, me and DS1 sat eating grapes, DS2 has decided he doesn't like them again, I think a mission this week will be getting him to have more fruit and veg again as he's being an awkward little monster recently! Might see if I can do some of the meal plan tonight from memory of what is in there.

  • Oh dear - DH is NOT a happy bunny AT ALL!! Probably not the best time to observe that it's only a game!!!!

[STRIKE]Change all beds (by 10am so can hang out to dry - fingers crossed)[/STRIKE]
Cook a spare dinner for freezer
Go for a walk over field with kiddies and DH
Clean the utility room and sort out the mountain of coats and shoes
Pack school bags for monday x3
[STRIKE]Fill a binbag of things to get rid of[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]15 minutes hotspots clearing[/STRIKE]
Have long hot bubble bath me time

[STRIKE]locate some new clothes for DS [/STRIKE]

Having been shamed into action by Pigpen, all 3 ginger kids were pressganged into bedroom sorting out whilst DH and I sorted out our wardrobes and drawers. We now have 1 big Ikea bag and 3 stuffed carriers ready for the charity shop. Have also managed to catch up with washing - now just need to iron it all!

Also managed to serve spaghetti carbonara (HM) - and all 3 ginger kids want to know when we can have it again! Must be getting there!

I hear the ironing calling me.........
