hi
haven't posted much this week, been too busy sorting my head out. Thanks thanks thanks again for everyone's advice, hugs, and support. I'll say it again - I truly was overwhelmed with everyone's generosity of spirit and of time, and quite a few replies had the tears pouring down my face again
I'm getting there, the last couple of days have been a lot more bearable. I am a right one for wearing my heart on my sleeve so have poured my heart out to a few of my friends who have also been great in keeping me busy, listening etc.
Lent update - now have done 9 days of no snacks bar fuit and/or yoghurt.
Had weigh in on Thursday and lost 2 pounds :j Am pretty pleased.
Oh and our half term is next week so not sure how the flying will pan out. Have a lot of stuff planned out with the kids.
Anyway here go my replies having had a bit of a catch up ...
Torchwood fans- is it a new series you are all watching ? I watched the first series and loved it. Dont tell me I have lissed loads of a new one .... grrrr
Dusty - Happy Birthday for whatever day it was
pigpen - sorry to hear about Barney
skintscotslass - sorry about your uncle's funreal, hope you are doing ok (((hugs)))) (hope hangover or at least what little hangover you had has gone too  )
Pollybear - brave girl using the burgers, glad you are still here to tell the tale :rotfl:
Mudbath - big relief about the abscess. VV glad you are ok. Oh and well done DD:T
michelle, pigpen - yup another one here who doesn't stop during pregnancy! I say just know your limits, do what you can and if you need to rest, then rest. With all of mine I was mega busy, one was two weeks late, 2 were a week early. Dont believe activity levels make it happen, it comes when its ready. And all that stuff I got done over the summer ... well I am so glad I did it, I had much more time then, just less energy LOL
soappie - oh bah I hope it isnt just the gardener, that would be far too unexciting
toria - I have had the freezig cold thing allnight as well, oh no I hope it isn't the lurgy, I dont have time to be under the weatherJan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)

going to bed too
in for a rough night I fear, we have already been up to the baby about 3 times since 8pm
Shes waking loads and needs the dummy to get back to sleep  Planning to do controlled crying at some point as I ma not going to keep giving the dummy back 10 times a night. I'm hoping the unsettledness is down to her bad cold but am secretly qorried it is just plain dummy addiction.
She's had a dose of baby nurofen. We'll prob giver he calpol later too.
If anyone has any suggestions for what to do with her let me know

Morning all.
thought it was supposed to be bright and sunny today but here we have a red sunrise and some hazy cloud but it is v. cold. I'll hold off putting the throws in the washing machine until I know how the day is going to pan out weatherwise.
JillD - hope you had an unbroken night. I don't know what to suggest about the dummy. I was fortunate in that my two found their thumbs within a couple of days so never had a dummy - their thumbs were always close byI am the leading lady in the movie of my life
