Just caught up again - you lot can really chat! It definately wasn't me who did Reiki - although you've made me feel like maybe I should!!

Congratulations to OH Pink Fairy glad you enjoyed yourselves.

Feel like I am coming down with something this week - feel freezing cold all the time and really achy! Have done loadsa walking though so maybe I am just unfit!
  • He was sooooooooooooo nervous! I've never seen him like that since our wedding when he had sweaty hands!:rotfl:Bless him. BTW - mine's the one in combats! :rotfl:The other geezer's not bad tho' for an older man! :rotfl:Not easy to tell from this pic, but when we first got married, DH was Head Hunted by Derek's Doubles because he was the spitting image of Jimmy Nail. He's about an inch shorter, and for a time when he came out of the army he had longer hair, but he's quite a bit heavier now!

Thank you for all the good wishes. I'll pass them on to him. I think he's quite chuffed with himself! We're hoping to get a few more pics from the Press Officer and she'll also let us know when it's going in the paper (local) as well as the Cadets one.

Pink Fairy you should be very proud something nice for the album and too show off.

torianut I have PM'd you twice found some more after i sent the first PM.

Well I did sneak out to the coop on the pretence of getting more milk not my fault that the bottle of wine jumped off the shelf into my basket. Anyway its now in the fridge and won't be allowed out until the ironing is done, so I'm off to tackle that.
  • Wonderful photos PF!
Shell2001 - have no tips re magic knickers other than finding the biggest cubicle available to allow you to do that strange dance when pulling up knickers after a few beers - the one where you end up jumping around whilst holding tops of said knickers - or is that just me and mine!

Those wonderful knickers.. lol...l have been known to get naked in the loo to heave them up.. and I even once enlisted the help of another woman inthere.. ROFL.. I heaved them up halfway and I jumped up and down heaving on the top.. then slotted my arms down the top and heaved them from above. WHAT A LAUGH!! fond memories and all!!

Dw loaded.. recycling out.. bunny cage destinked.. which also involved getting rid of the 'last poo' from Barney.. which started the tears AGAIN.. I am holding it together today but the girls aren't doing so well..

Kitchen S&S'd.. dinner in.. chimps getting their pj's on now.. and hubby still smashing up the house.. lol... the last of the wall has gone.. and now he has the floor up!

My nails are looking amazingly.. well.. amazing.. very.. unique.. I'd show you but I can't find the camera charger.. again!! I've also lost a bag with 5 nail polishes in.. I am certain I left them on the mantel.. but they have disappeared..what are the odds I find them in DD1's room?!

PF usually you can blag copies off press officers, some of them I have known to enlarge prints for people free aswell, well worth a blagging mission! He does look ever so nervous bless him, very proud aswell, you can tell.

DP has dealt with the money side of things from the little problem, I just have to deal with the emotional stuff now, I know what she's like and will do her best to stop me seeing my neice and nephew which I suppose is the most upsetting. I am sure after the lack of sleep last night over it I will sleep tonight as I've felt exhausted all day.

Well done some stuff since I last posted inc another vacuum through (darn dog!!) collected DS2, small shopping trip for milk etc, emptied another unpacking box, made dinner, cleared up from dinner, loaded DW/started it, fed/walked/groomed dogs, filled BM, sorted through fridge then cleaned it (ewwwww had a 'this is what happens when you defrost mince with a hole in the bag' moment!) ermmmm filled washing machine inc lunch bag (must remember to chuck PE kit in next wash) poop clear up done, helped DS2 plant carrot seeds, folded all the laundry from the airers, looked for DPs Sat Nav which he's lost but haven't found it yet. I did sort through the last tins/packets cupboard (apart from the baking on which I haven't dared enter yet) and I don't actually have as much as I thought, it was just organised VERY badly, not one tin of beans left so DS2 will have a hissy fit if I don't get some more, might need to do a online shop if I can find a decent code, some things I do have a lot of however like passatta and tinned tomatoes...

    My little evening list

Sit and do a 'what we want to do over the holidays' list with the boys
    Clean sonics litter tray out
    Finish making DS2s bed
Bath boys and put them to bed (a bit later so they maybe let me have a sleep in!)
    Put laundry away that's dry
Put bread into a bag once it's finished (slice tomorrow)
Write a to do list for tomorrow & Sunday
Look through all study planners, see what's next and what needs to be in first
    Empty dishwasher
Online banking, accounts checking, bills paying & see what's left
Find somewhere for the 15 packets of vitamins I bought :o, well they were half price!!!
Look for decent online shopping codes & place order if I find some
Have a nice relaxing bath (ok I'll end up cleaning the bathroom while I am there as usual) and an earlier night!!!

Oh one for the gardening peeps, we planted the carrot seeds in a planter tonight but then the forecast for here is for very cold again, will they still 'grow' out there or should I bring them in?

Magic knickers - sometimes it's easier to take the frock off and hang it on the door while you deal with them! Not kidding either, amount of times I've walked back in a room with a top/trousers/skirt or frock tucked in my knickers in places because of trying to deal with them in the loos!!! Been a while like since I have been out and even when we do go out this weekend (Sunday :D first time in about a year) I can't find them to wear anyway :rotfl:
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
