Went to Asda, came back, unpacked and the forum was down, I had a panic attack! :rotfl:

Got a nice new keyboard and mouse at Asda, was using one that was 10 years old and filthy, this one is spill proof so should last a bit longer!

Anyone got any ideas on how to treat Impetigo? I have another suspicious looking spot and can't get to the GP till Monday. Been using cold sore cream to take the itch away.

DS2 is having a nap, I just watched Shameless from the other night and I should hoover, mop, tidy and get some washing done, or even the corner of doom... Kick please??
  • Well a productive morning so far..

    Dailies done

Lots of washing now blowing on the line

Picked on sorting my and DH's clothing/shoes - so turfing out the wardrobe and bedroom today. How many hangers does one couple need??? Rearranged the wardrobe into things together, chucked obvious rubbish and cleaned the thing, now waiting for DH to return so he can check out his stuff. Having a quick break before going back.

I have decided that no more clothing, other than outdoor coats, will be living downstairs anywhere - so best go hunt all bits down!

Think my Ebay pile will have mushroomed before the day is out - found lots of lovely vintage (dreadful 80's stuff) clothing to try my luck with. Not sure I want to do my listings Pigpen style - maybe 20 a week?

    Moam

Tia have you got any antibacterial cream? If not teatree cream or oil in cooled boiled water to fight the bacteria.

lost last post but in all success, points from tesco, returned carp present which did not work and swopped for useful things, got lovely pots and plant from homebase with cash Nan sent me for my birthday.

Need to put washing on the line and then off to the cinema in a while - bee movie - is it good?

I have been fab this morning.

Bathroom - everything scrubbed and zoflora'd
Lounge - Hoovered, dusted and tidied
Kitchen - Sides wiped, dishes done and put away, floor swept and mopped
Porch - Swept & mopped, plant watered
Our Room - Quick tidy & hoover
    Kids Room - tidied, hoovered
Xmas decs finally redumped back in garage:o
Hair dyed, washed and styled (go me:j )
    Washing done
    Started ironing
Lunch made for littles and DD1 friend

I got a bottle of red to go with tea last night and it was lush! Usually I cannot drink red once I have finished a meal but this went down really well - if fact I think I drank most of the bottle:o , maybe I should do that more often if it gives my "flying" this sort of boost.

Lil-Me - Sorry to hear about hassles, try not to think about it or it will eat you up! think letting DP deal with it is a good idea.

Mudbath - Excellent news! May the nurse who did not tell you the whole story end up with a boil on her nose!

Michelle - Good on you girl! I remember being pregnant with DD2 and having to sit on the floor when in-laws visited us at Xmas, wouldnt mind but SIL is only a couple of years older than me so was more than capable of sitting on the floor. Put your hat and scarf on if tackling that porch too, you dont wanna catch a chill.

Cannot remember much else, maybe the wine killed off more brain cells:confused:

Mudbath - HOORAY!!!! So pleased for you xxx stupid cowbag nurse! I've done Reiki 1, it was only one day as it was my friend doing it and I already knew a lot about the background of it. My mums just been attuned too in a day and then left to practice and self heal. When I did we briefly covered the history and background, things about contra indictions, about the month of self healing, then I had some Reiki, to actually attune me I just had to sit and she did things around me, then later did some healing with it. Not used it for a long while TBH, must start again as I loved it. Lightworkers Way by Doreen Vutrue (can't remember correct spelling) is a good book too. HTH
Lil me - hugs, what a nightmare, hope Megan is okay, my bassett Stan sometimes goes a bit lame on his front legs (due to his height and weight) and then wants to play with the other dog the next minute.
Shell & MOAM - go girls, gold stars for what you've done!

had a lovely night out last night, really good to get a break. Very hungover this morning - yuck! but seems to be passing now.

Been swimming, my parents and polished granite in kitchen as IL's made a right hash of it and thats been it. Can't be bothered to unpack or anything.

Feel like crap as DS has whinged all morning, was really naughty at swimming, he had a nasty fall at my mums hitting his head on their tv stand, seems like all hes done is cry. I snapped at him as 3 hours of solid whinging got to me and now feel like absolute pants.

    Catch you all later

I hoovered, mopped, tidied and got some washing done, PLUS, put last nights dishes away, did the breakfast/lunch dishes, cleaned the sink and wiped down the sofa's. Do I get a cookie??

Time to go get DS1, so need to go get DS2 up. We will walk today as it's so nice and DS2 will be cranky.

Forgot that yesterday I slopped vaseline all over my hands then did the dishes using the rubber gloves. So my hand are lovely and soft now!
  • Ran out of soappowder and its a good drying day so had a quick dash into town, with a slower amble back via the shops. A gorgeous day for a walk - bright but cool enough to make you walk a bit quicker!

So more washing on and feeling good after my unexpected walk.

Now 40 mins until DS dropped home, what can I do? Will aim to get clothes back into wardrobe, and floors hoovered - maybe?

    laters, Moam
