Good morning all!
I didn't post a list for me, but so far I've:
Got up :rotfl:washed, dressed & taken DH to work
Emptied DW
Loaded WM
Put banana bread in BM
Filled CP
Fed dogs, cats and fish
5GC
And started cleaning kitchen. Hoping to do a bit more before I go to collect from a Freecycler, drop off books for niece and hide from DS's GF's Mum, coz if she knows I'm home, I'll get lumbered. I've even got my mobile turned off! How sad is that?:oDMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

Nobody likes a spoil sport I know but for newbies here is last Friday's list:
Fearsome Friday- those frightening kids rooms and spare rooms

Vacuum the floor, even if it's just where you can see
Spend at least half an hour doing something for yourself!!!!! paint your nails, make an appointment to have your hair done, a lovely soak in the bath.. whatever you feel like!!
Level Two
Clear away anything that isn't in it's place, clothes, toys, books etc
Dusting.. all those shelves and flat fluffy surfaces!! Don’t forget the light shade and curtain pole!!!
Level Three
Strip beds, turn and vacuum mattresses!! and replace with fresh linen .. check if duvets & pillows need freshening up too!!
Sort through a cupboard/chest of drawers and get the clothes out which are no longer wearable, too small or out of season!
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors
Extra Task List- Wash a set of curtains, nets, duvet or throw
- Wipe the radiators, skirtings and window & door frames!
- Friday fling!! grab a binbag and fill it with stuff to leave the house.. rubbish or charity shop or to donate to a friend!
- Get rid of one binbag/box of toys that are no longer needed or are broken and do some battery replacing!
- Put all the pc game discs, ps2 discs, cd's etc back in their correct cases!

Got soooooo much to do, dont know where to start!! Can't believe the state of the house when I've not been flying and I'm not even working either. What have I been doing all week, other than drinking? Will finish watching Ashes to Ashes and then bash on.
Lil_me - I'm sorry you're having a diffficult time. I cant really give any advice, except leave it to your OH. Easy said than done I know xx0 -
Morning all.
Lil-me re the Borrower. Has anyone sat down with her to find out why she's always running out of money? She seems like a prime candidate to join MSE!
'If you lend a friend money and never see the friend or money again it was money well spent'
Part of me does now worry where the money will come from when she leaves herself short to pay a bill or for food or for gas/electricity for the children, but then again like has been said with the amount of money she has coming in, why should I need to worry? She has an illness (mental health issues) which never makes it any easier to deal with, but maybe this will give her a chance to stand on her own two feet and sort herself out, not that I think she will, she'll just borrow elsewhere as I know what she's like. My partner asked her last night 'if I said lend me £600 could you' of course she said no, but then like he said, 'well that is what you are asking your Mam to do asking for half of what she has left to live on a month'.
Anyway, less of that for now as I could go on forever
Studying is first thing today, need to do the LAST chapter in this book. I've already had a spillage to clean up, full pint of milk, lack of sleep because of being wound up last night has left me with dropsy. DSs were in a foul mood this morning, refusing to get ready etc then DS1 self harming as he let because he didn't eat his breakfast (it was there for half an hour) Washing machines on, dishwashers emptied, suppose I should crack on really.
Right HHS for me, see how much I can get done. If I come back on here within half an hour you have my permission to kick my backside! anyoen want to join me in a HH of something? One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
I very much doubt that I'll get to the kids' bedrooms anyway as I'm trying to sort the downstairs out.
Extras to housework include:
Pick DH up from work
Go to the library
Go to Home Bargains
Check on parents' house
DH has phoned me this morning to say that he has started with this horrible fluey virus I've had so I can't see us going to the zoo over the weekend as planned. Can't see the kids being too impressed by that - especially seeing as we haven't really been anywhere this HT as I haven't been very well!
Glad last night went well Pink Fairy - will we get pics later?
Right, I need to crack on - anyone up for a HHC?NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

Morning folks.
I had a rest from the computer yesterday evening, and sat holding hands while watching telly. I took the evening off after managing a bit more work last night.
Not entirely sure what my plans are yet for today. i know i should work, but i also know it is my last day on my own. I do know i am expecting my mum's birthday pressie being delivered though, so i won't make any plans till then. Doesn't help that the cat is snoozing in the middle of the dining table and as he doesn't come home that often i don't really want to disturb him.
Had to do some negotiating with DH about an in-laws visit - they want to come and see us but suggested some silly days, including a monday when we will be at work - so i stuck up for myself and vetoed that as it would mean me getting very stressed as they would be here disturbing me when i was trying to plan things for school - i've been there and done that before, and not been as heavily pregnant, and i won't be doing it again. I also suggested they stay at the hotel up the road as we are in the middle of bedroom swapping and organising, and there is no way i am giving them my bed so i can sleep on the inflatable mattress on the floor. Very pleased i stuck up for myself as no-one seems to think of me in these matters - just their need to see DS who they haven't seen since XMAS.
Anyway, going to stop whinging and do something - not sure what - but something.
Achieved so far:- WM - washed the covers from DS's chair - need to hang them up somewhere now to get them dry
- dropped DS off at nursery, also handed in the letter i had written yesterday
- popped in to work, took in the y10 and y7 books marked the other day - picked up the set of y11 books so i can mark them for the last time before handing over to the student teacher. :j
- come home, put a hubcap that has been on our drive for yonks in the bin ready for binmen emptying it, cleaned some rubbish out of my car and binned that, and emptied the kitchen bin - might as well be rid of all the tut seems though they won't be back again for a fortnight.
pink fairy sounds like a lovely evening.
lil-me family are sometimes worse than friends as you feel more obliged to lend to them. I know my sis got herself in a real mess with the catalogues and wouldn't tell her DH, but basically just cos she gets her housekeeping from him which is a bit meagre as he can be a tight git, and she was trying to keep up with the Jones' and spoil the kids. Luckily she saw the errors of her ways. But it cost my parents a fortune in bailing her out at the time. Like you not wanting to see the kids suffer. You can't always help people though.

Good morning everyone.
Pink Fairy Pleased you had a lovely evening you must be so proud.
lil_me I have a similar issue with a family member. Not on such a scale though. Sometimes have to use tough love. Situation is not as bad as it used to be. Found out this year that she was getting letters from debt firms re money she owed companies. Was pleased she actually sorted that herself when I recommended a debt advice org in our area. Thankfully the kids are grown up now. I do help now and again but not like I used to.
Well not much flying for me just a little S&S. Catch you all later.0
