You are all so lovely. My friend came with me and did some reiki on me. I think i've said before that it's the one treatment that I just don't get but I do find it fab. Anyway, it's made me decide to take the plunge and do the course myself. I can't remember who else does it on here - think it might have been Torianut. Could you tell me what to expect on the course. Thankyou xx0

Sorry - not me! sounds good though! You can practise on us all xx0

The butternut squash experiment was interesting. The sweetness of the squash combated seriously with the smokiness of the bacon and I'm not sure which one won. I ate it all but I wouldn't do it again.
Some you win, some you lose -that's what experimentation is all about!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Soappie - I did a HFW squash recipe with feta cheese. It was absolutely gorgeous. Had forgotten all about it til now. Must dig it out.
Mudbath - funny, I thought it was Toria that did reiki as well! It must be Tia.
Is everyone having a romantic valentine's night? You're all very quiet!0 -
Evening everyone
Just had my ME time watching Ashes to Ashes with a glass of wine or two, not sure if I deserve it with the amount of flying/not flying I've done but too late now, did get some things done today-S&S kitchen, S&S sink and loo while DD in shower, sorted and filed all paperwork, cleared and rearranged PC desk, 2 washloads washed and dried- need to put away. Was invaded by Sis, BIL, 5month old nephew and their mad dog this afternoon, DH in bed never heard a thing!! and it was chaos!! Is it just women who wake easily? maybe after having kids-I can't sleep through an earthquake like I used to!!LOL Hope everyone is having a good nightWW lost 33 lbs so far, [strike]13st1lb[/strike] [strike]12st13lbs[/strike] [STRIKE]11st12.5lbs[/STRIKE] 11st11lbs0 -
Evening everyone!
Just finished ashes to ashes - glass of wine in one hand, hm chocolate crispie cake in the other - perfect!! Friends round for chinese for supper - did the Sainsburys version - half the price of the local takeaway and MSG free!
Mudbath - reiki sounds great - never tried that one but huge fan of complementary medicine. Homeopathy worked wonders for DS and cranial osteopathy helped DD1 dyspraxic tendencies.
galatvr4 - told DH about your car related comments - he has now stopped teasing me for talking to virtual people and is now saying what great taste you must all have!!!
Won't be flying much tomorrow - taking kids to London to see aquarium and London Eye (together with group of school friends and mums). Should be fun!!0
