Finally managed to get back on here!

Wasreading the thread hours agoand started my reply when DD came in and said 'mum I think the rabbit has escaped again!' Sure enough he was no where to be seen, silly DD had let him out and forgotten to block the hole in the fence we discovered yestrday! He was out until it was dark last night as we couldn't catch him...he's so fast a fox wouldhave a difficult job to get him! After about half an hour looking and chasng him the neighbours visitor caught him and he's now safely tucked up in his hutch! Cricket the nightmare rabbit!!

Then it was lunch then it was help DS tidy his room which is a job well done! DH said he would help him but seemed to end up watching the footie!! All done now and I've finally got back to see you all!

Beautiful day today and we all got out early for DS's footie match (1-1) which was very exciting, it's a very cheap form of entertainment and the whole family go and have a good natter to other parents on the sidelines DD isn't too keen tho but I take some snacks which usually work as a bribe and hopefully ith the improving weather it will be more appealing.

You can see I haven't had any adult conversation for a bit!!

Hope everyone has had great days, catch up tomorrow mornig hopefully!xxx

Csarina - I think the card you have done is lovely.

It has been alovely day to get the washing out, as well as taking my son to the park for some fresh air. he decided on the way home to be stupid though, and roll over in the mud! (By the way he is only 4) So I was glad to get him home.

I am trying to convert my Out laws to this site, so I lent them one of my MS books yesterday. I suppose I must get on and do some more bits and pieces, but my energy has got up and gone. Hope everyone else has a good Sunday.

  • Afternoon everyone

Roast pork is in the oven - smells divine :D HM stuffing made, just waiting to go in - just got to make cauliflower cheese and put the veg on and I'm good to go. Managed to catch up on all the washing and ironing - last throw for the sofas is just drying now. On the cleaning front - haven't done anything, ubt I'm about to have a quick half hour whizz round and then hoover so I don't feel as bad. I'll clean the bathroom later when DD has her bath ;)

Just poured myself a glass of wine and having 5 minutes - then onto shoe cleaning. DH has promised he'll take care of DD's football boots - so let's hope he gets them done tonight - along with mending the puncture on my bike.

Anyhoo enough chatting I've got things to do lol!!
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

Hello, thought i'd jump in if you don't mind. It's been a lovely sunday here, got some washing dry outside and the rabbit and g-pigs have been munching on grass for the whole day so they're happy. i've blitzed the kitchen and bathroom, just living room and bedroom to do, must be done by Wed as the vicar is coming about getting the banns read. Tried to do the flylady thing this week but i gues i'm just the type that ends up panicking on a sunday.
I'm making tandorie chicken stir fry for a late tea and some turkey stew and bolognase to cover the week and put in the freezer.
have to sit and make a valentines card, valentines mini scrap book and a couple of birthday cards tonight so may move the dining room table so i can watch tv at the same time, although i'm also suposed to be listing loads of stuff on ebay.

dd11 and I just back from chinese new year bit disapointing really as we couldn't see a blessed thing and it was very crowded. She is very upset with exoh at the moment - he was supposed to be coming with us and we made a huuuuuge devils food cake for tea - well he didn't come of course. He has also hit the roof because her new glasses need to be fitted on saturday which of course eats into his daddy weekend - it seems that shared care does not iclude boring things like appointments or sickness. She says she's getting her glasses on saturday even if that means not seeing him the whole weekend so we'll see - whatever happens it's all my fault obviously. We had a gut buster of a meal at MR WU in leicester square - not the best chinese restaurant in the world but very cheap and cheerful. dd managed to buy a lovely tea cup thingy which she is putting away for her grandmothers's 50th wedidng anniversary thing in march.

It turns out that devils food cake is unfreezable and not very easily transported for packed lunch purposes which means that we will have to eat most of it today ...... shame that ;)

Ooooh stefejb - what's devil's food cake? It sounds yum whatever it is...

Back from Tesco, only went for a few odds and ends but got a good haul of bargains including a week's worth of fresh fruit (clementines and bananas) for £3.24. Was coming back home through the park with my wally trolley reeeeeally heavy with massive bottles of value fizzy water, and met a little girl on a bike who decided she wanted to race me and my trolley :rotfl: Not surprisingly she kept winning  There was a fab sunset over the lake in the park - I wish I'd had my camera.

Saw neighbour's baby again - he's six weeks old now and has grown loads since I last saw him three weeks ago!

SOMO1 - can I come to your house for dinner? The meal you're cooking sounds fabulous!

Right, must get on and write my reviews...

Well we have had the expensive Tesco chicken and to be perfectly honest it had no taste, even less than the usual chickens we get, so sorry but I will not be spending well over £4 another time for a chicken.

We have taken the trolley out of the kichen with the coffee stuff on it, so they can do their worst in there next week, it will be nice to have a bigger kitchen especially when we are cooking the Christmas lunch, which I intend to do as long as I am able.

We have planned a strawberry tea for June as well.........but thas all. They want me to do a monthly lunch club, but I do not want to comit to something that regular.................

    evening all,

what a beauiful day is been, we have been out for a long walk about 10 miles, little dog loved it, came home and cooked roast lamb and all the trimmings, and made some fairy cakes, just had one they were delish :D figured I had walked it off before I had it.

DD has been out with her dad, but come home feeling sick with a headache, she is as white as a sheet, and could not eat her dinner, OH has gone to bed with a headache, so seems that they have both picked up a virus.

Going to settle down and watch a bit of telly, will watch wife swap, I love that programme, will probably have an earlish night, not sure if DD will go to school tomorrow, will have to see what she is like in the morning.

hello to lemon tree, lots of new posters today, nice to see you all xx

    Have good evenings all xx
