Hi, this is the Daily Thread for 10th February.. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!
When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning
Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.
Morning.
Up at the crack of dawn as usual. I would like to lie in one day, but once I wake up, I feel I have to be doing somthing...
A very profitable shopping day yesterday. I managed to find some e-bay stock from some final sale bargains. I emptied the £1 bin and got £1120 worth at full retail for just £44. So I hope to make a profit.
Found some other things too for myself, so quite happy.
Off to church later and then all the kids are off to a youth metting all night, so it will be quiet about the house. Some friends come back from France today after a booze cruise. They borrowed our car as it's much larger and they always leave a case or 2 of wine in it when it's returned as a thankyou.
So looking forward to filling up the wine rack for free.
Well have a nice day everyone.

Morning N9EAV and all who follow. Enjoy the wine, N9EAV. Sounds like a good deal, to me! I'm like you, when I wake up I have to get up and do something.
Well, wasn't the weather beautiful yesterday? I couldn't get warm all day (which apparently was just me, not the temperature, according to my DH) but it was great having so much sunshine. It does you the power of good.
Did a lot of pottering about yesterday and got quite a lot sorted out in my never-ending quest to re-organise my house.
Today, we have to visit the bottle bank because I've got three crates of bottles and jars to dispose of and then I shall get on with some baking. I need to make bread, cakes and puddings for the week and also try and make a secret heart-shaped cake for DH for Valentine's Day. We're having roast pork for lunch but I've prepped all the veg so that won't seem like a chore; then it will be an afternoon snooze before the grandchildren come round.
Well no more news at the moment so I'm off for a shower.
See you all later.

Morning all - I left my retreat early because there were just too many people around, and mealtimes were a trial with people yammering away. It's a beautiful place but not what I'm looking for. Next time I'm going to rent a little cottage somewhere so I'm not bound by a communal schedule. I did have a good time some of the time and I'm glad I went.
Just about to put the BM on and tackle washing, but I haven't really got any plans for the rest of the day because I wasn't expecting to be here. DH bought himself a new laptop yesterday so I won't get any conversation out of him today - maybe I'll just carry on with a silent weekend!0 -
Morning everyone.
Hope you are all well, not been keeping up with thread this week, will do this week i promise.
Off to footy soon, 2 matches same time (for a change!), so im off to one side of town and dh off to the other, but it means we will be home by 12 and have the afternoon to ourselves.
Yesterday was a beautiful day, the sun was great for a change, kids went down the park, i washed and cleaned the car and got some tidying up in garden done.
THis afternoons plans are chill, eat and sleep!!
Have great sundays everyone

Good morning. I got up at 8am today-early for me for a sunday. DW emptied and half refilled!! wm emptied-just about to put another load in!! Kids wanted honey cheerios from supermarket last night so we bought asdas own and decanted it into a cereal dispenser!! If I'd left them in the box the kids would have decided they were horrible without trying them. This morning they both got up and are happily eating them-saved me 59p a box!!!
Got a to do list made out-did it last night. This is my vain attempt to get organised. Didn't manage to get any baking done yesterday but I did sort freezers and a cupboard out as well as wiping the fronts of the appliances etc, so I'm hoping to do some baking today. OH at work this am-hopefully the guy he is meeting will want to buy the machinary OH is selling fingers crossed. Right I'm going to try and be industrious.

Good morning all, Iv been following the this for a good few months now, and love it while sipping on my morning tea.
I love sundays a bit of a sloppy day.
DS1 is going to play football, DH going with him so just me and DS2 at home for most of the day.
I have to do a presentation with a girl I really do not get on well with tomorrow at uni and felling fed up about it. But got to do it so will be preping my help today.
Other than that its washing uniform and cooking dinner.
Hope you all enjoy your sunday xx0 -
Good morning everyone,
Quiet here this morning - does that mean everyone is having a lie in!!!??
I had a lie in, got up at 8 this morning, and have already stripped my bed and its in the WM. Was a beautiful day here yesterday, and today looks the same so far, so should be able to get it dry outside, which will mean it smells lovely!
Football yesterday went well, DSs team won 5 - 1, and they put DS in defence (he is normally left wing, which is a player in the middle) and he still managed to score a goal! Very proud of all the boys.
Hoping today to get into the garden and start preparing it for some veg i want to plant later on - have a bush stump to dig up and some ground to dig and get rid of some stones - although this morning im staying in my pjs!!
Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday, and the weather is good wherever you are!

Morning everyone
Brrr it's cold this morning!
Today I am going to blitz the house - it's a state and I desparately need to catch up. DH is going round the IL's to watch footie this afternoon, so I should just be able to crack on.... watch this space :rotfl:
I also need to get up to date with all the washing and ironing, make sure DD does her homework, clean her shoes and make my icing roses for the birthday cupcakes I'm making tomorrow night.
Roast pork for dinner tonight, followed by apple pie and custard.
Anyway, better get on with it - have a super Sunday everyone (((((hugs)))))Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0 -

Morning all!
Hope everyones okay.... I had a good day yesterday - weather was lllooovvveely. Sorted out my kitchen cupboards and tidied the garden.
Today I'm going to Lidl to stock up on cat litter, bread flour etc and then to finish decorating the sitting room (hopefully so we can get some sofas in today or this week). We've been living in the spare room without sofas and with an office chair and a beanbag to sit on since before Christmas! I cant wait for it to be over.
More good news... DH FINALLY got his payrise yesterday woohoo!!! :j
Hope everyone has a good day xx0
