Morning all,
Just caught up with the rest of yesterdays thread and todays. Thanks for the congrats on my new job.
PenPin. Love your kitchen and traybake. I made another one last night using basic sponge and threw three packets of chocolate chips in it as well:rolleyes: Not very OS but definitely recommend that recipe its yum. Unfortunately, don't think it will last the weekend let alone be enough to put in lunch boxes for the week!
First wash load in and I'm going to spend the rest of the day preparing dinners to make my first week at work a little easier.
Hope you all have a great sunday. Hugs and best wishes to all who need / want them.Proud to have dealt with my debts. Nerd number 288:j Debt free date Dec 07 :EasterBun

Morning everyone,
We've had a busy weekend here and I've not had a lot of computer time. I've got a lot done though.I'll have to ring our internet provider tomorrow as early morning the internet doesn't work but it's fine by mid morning. By then I'm caught up with other things and next thing it's after tea before I get another chance.
Off to shower shortly and then watch Miss Marple. I'll also start another dishcloth. I'm going to do a pattern one this time instead of all plain. Made a batch of Twink's hobnobs this morning. Gave some to DGS. He seems to like them.
Sola Sorry to hear that the retreat wasn't as beneficial as you'd hoped. I'm sure you'll find the perfect one as time goes by. It did look gorgeous in the pictures.
PP I much prefer what you've done to your kitchen now. Looks crisp & clean. Not so dark.
MrsMix
Granny Enjoy your Ninny day's this week. Lucky the w**d has passed.
CM Stop fondling the BM and post.
Well hope you all have a happy Sunday. Will pop back later. ByeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
Morning all
welcolme STUDENTGIRL.
Hope all is well, haven't managed to catch up on the thread from yesterday. Would have got more done yesterday if my back hadn't been killing me. Looks like my car is finally falling to pieces. The lock on my door has been dodgy for some time. My lovely neighbour over the road had a look at it yesterday, he has managed to lock it and I need to go to the scrapyard tomorrow to pick up another one he'll fit for me. In the meantime, I have to get in and out from the passenger side. Thank goodness for nice neighbours.
It's another lovely day here. Am off to work at 1pm. Washing is on the line. Need to make packed lunches in a mo.
Off to check my emails and on-line banking.
Have a lovely day all

Welcome studentgirl!
:hello: to everyone else.
Congratulations to Mr Deleted_User on your payrise.
The most embarassing thing happened yesterday. I was surrounded by dogs at one point and thought that something felt quite warm..... I assumed that it was because of all these dogs brushing past me. I hadn't notice that one had taken alot of notice over one of my legs and had c*cked its leg up on me! Of course, DH nearly died laughing.
I'm slowly running our freezer stocks down. It's taken a while, but I need to fill it up again this half term whilst I still have the time! Our Valentine's Day meal will be chilli con carne, so the other portions will be put in the freezer!!!
This afternoon we're going to a point to point. Should be good as DH tends to win and I don't, so I never put much money on these days. :rotfl:
Anyway, I'd better go and pretend to get dressed.

morning all from a very frosty Essex
need to take the dogs out then am going into the loft to see what clothes are up there for DD2 as part of the master plan is to de clutter this house so if we get the chance to go to Canada we can go more easily and with less also the money will come in handy we really need to cut back.
Off to take the kids to church then home to tidy up and do dinner we have beef with all the trimmings and apple strudel and custard for afters. DW is on and need to empty the tD and refil the WM
welcome to all the newbies and hugs to all those who need them
hope you all have a good day0 -
Morning, I'm generally a lurker on this board, but thought I'd pop over and say hi as feeling good about today. Opened emails and have sold some stuff on Amazon, just when I thought it was a waste of time! Got to the bottom of freezer and found some stock from Christmas, so off to greengrocers later, for bag of chopped up veg for 40p, to make soup. Then roast dinner, cheap and cheerful chicken so can get more meals out of it and make stock, and may do some baking if I get to the bottom of the ironing pile!Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Good morning:D
Contrary to some people's beliefs I have not been absent having an obsessive relationship with my breadmaker:rotfl: I have however been wearing my Florence Nightingale outfit:p Seriously, not been on for the last couple of days because of various family *incidents*. Niece had an accident, fell down a flight of stairs at work, and luckily only badly bruised her leg, hip and back. But she can't do much for the moment, so we've all pitched in to help with the three girls.
DS4 is looking to move out (:D and), so there's been a certain amount of ferrying him around to viewings. Some have been quite a way away, but luckily one he really liked is quite close, so fingers crossed;)
Afraid I have no idea what's been happening, will try to catch up with the threads later, but I gather PP, you have a new kitchen? You can be sure my [STRIKE]nosey[/STRIKE] interested streak will make me backtrack for that one!;)
For now I must get off and dry my hair. I showered before logging on, and it's dripped down my back long enough:rotfl: Then it's off to Church.
Speak later, enjoy a sunny Sunday:D
