Maybe he is in his back garden clearing a space for the arrival of his new garden office?

What a good ikkle boy !
    I don't think it's for an office, I think it's a new "Wendy House"
    :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
It's not just about the money
  • Well here goes to the next mis price we can find..............
Inside me lives a skinny woman crying to get out - but I can usually shut her up with cake!

It would be a precedent shed!
  • B&Q's own website says that for the year ending 3/2/07, they made profits of £162.9 million.

So I think they can afford to honour these contracts and take it on the chin. If they try and weasle their way out then that's exactly the sort of behaviour that this website was set up to counter!!

If B&Q honoured all these sheds their profits 0n 02/02/08 would be down by £162.8 million

I wonder how much their legal team is costing them so far... I'm sure they have found this forum by now so maybe they can tell us first hand? ;) And what's the cost of good/bad publicity worth?
  • I have an email confirmation, a printed receipt courtesy of B&Q’s site; the money has left my account. It may be a misprice, but then CPC sold my friend a 10ft sq garden house for £500 18 months ago – that was not a misprice.

As for the clause after the “legally binding contract” stuff; namely “WE RESERVE THE RIGHT NOT TO SUPPLY YOU AT OUR DISCRETION.” They had the chance not to supply me and not take my money, but they did, so looks binding to me. After all, could I ring them up 4-5 days after a transaction and say “whoops decided I can’t afford it, sorry.”
