I agree with what you say and that people shouldn't get their hopes up as obviously we expect B&Q to fight this. I was just stating that their position is a tricky one if someone wants to make something of it. I guess we just wait and see what happens.

If possession is 9/10 of the law, then who actually owns the "shed" if you comply with:

"Ownership of the goods shall remain with B&Q and shall not pass to the Customer until the agreed price for them, together with all other sums due from the Customer to B&Q, have been paid in full."

I am still awaiting that impending cancellation phone call to say that they will not be honouring it, has anyone who has had monies taken from their accounts as I have been offered anything in return as a goodwill gesture i.e. vouchers?

your being selective with what your quoting there the main bit is for whatever reason B and Q choose they can invoke this bit

I have also had the money actually taken from my card (not just ringfenced) BUT i also had money taken a while ago by Apple when they had a mispriced camera so they can refuse to sell it and just credit the money back

We all know it is very unlikely we will get it but it is fun in trying so please do not get stressed out about it , enjoy the ride !
