  • Hmmm. Have Britannia, Yorkshire, Skipton, Derbyshire, Saffron, Scarborough, National Counties and Kent Reliance. Can't really be bothered with them now - although some of them are past the 'signway' period, and others are probably getting near to 3/4's the way through as well, it just feels like money lying about doing very little...when I could spend it!! The returns on this cash lying about is likely to be quite small factoring in the years that it's had to lie there surely?

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, personally I will stick with carpetbagging as I have made a mint over the years...well worth it in my opinion

And Scots are famous for being "canny".
  • I know. Every now and again I get an urge to spend. Then the thought of a windfall payout - for FREE  - makes me see sense again... :)

    Did somebody call? :D

Hi Becs, didn't realise you belonged to this forum! Are any of the others lurking around too? I mainly remember Smiler, Ord, yourself, Roberto Baggio & probably a few others if I heard the names. There was one guy who was a retired traffic cop too. I kind of lost touch with it all around the time when it all became quite active (in the pursuit of conversions) & hadn't opened a new BS account in nearly a decade until KRBS last year.

I think I was Fella on the old carpetbagger.com forums too! Smiler may remember, I met him once or twice, we had a pint in London.

    cheers

People are still around on themoneybag and rpoints.

I went quiet for a while, but I had another baby last year and started again opening accouts for her :D
Here I go again on my own....
  • If you have more than one qualifying account with the same BS, do you get more than one windfall?

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton

Nope, but the balances on all the qualifying accounts are added together so that in the event of a payment based on balance values on certain dates the combined value would be counted. ;)

Obviously if different members of a family had qualifying accounts in their own names then each of these qualifying accounts would get seperate payments. ( subject to any rules on under 18 accounts)
  • Thanks! And Thanks again as my message is too short....
