How comes you are still waiting. The whole web busines finished months ago. They replied to all my letters very quickly - admittedly always with more or less the same answer0

Can I add my best wishes for a successfull outcome, I was one of the lucky one's who received my order, but have followed this thread with interest as it could quite easily of been me in the same situation.0

I’m currently pursing B&Q via a solicitor (kindly paid for by house holder insurance Co. as part of my cover). B&Q are contesting my claim based on their T&C. My solicitor has confirmed this is an unreasonable condition, and I do have a very good case. The shame of it that it may never make it to court as it’s in my Ins Co. commercial interest to make a payout to me!!!0

They also say it was a mutual mistake - of course it was - like I new they had a stock system error when I placed the order!!!
They also say I could get a similar product elsewhere for the same value - well if thats true - then show me!!!
Looking forward to the court hearing....

They have admitted they had a stock system problem.
UPDATE - I have seen the my lawyer. He says there case is without any merit. They are relying on force majeur and circumstances out of their control - quite clearly the failure of their own stock system is entirely within their control!0 -

What a cheek - fortuantely I have the phone records to prove thta I called them and not he other way around. I will see my lawyer at work tomorrow for a detailed review!!!

Have you been to court yet? How did you get on?0 -
No. Both parties have submitted the assignment forms and now we are waiting for a date for the court hearing.0

Today had my court hearing date. Its being held in my local court (Ha! = so much for B&Q lying and trying to get it in Southampton!) on the 9th Feb!
Looking forward to it!To Stooze or Not To Stooze - Theres only one option0 -
Nice one. Hope you get a belated Xmas present. Pricy, I feel it is only you and I that bothered to go to Court. Are you aware of anyone else?0

Just want to add my best wishes to those that are still taking B&Q to court...... does seem funny how the numbers have dwindled somewhat since this all blew up......... but those that have stuck with it, I hope you get exactly what you want from them...... it's a very sad scenario for a big player like this to make such a mess initially, and still continue to make a hash of it even now............Waddle you do eh?0
