They rang to offer a Matterhorn as had cocked up on stock levels, said "yes fine". Had a call to say would be delivered today.
They rang on Monday to say I wouldn't be getting it after all and would be offering £20 compo.
Yesterday I received a card from the delivery company saying that delivery would be this afternoon.
This morning the vouchers arrived and the Matterhorn arrived this afternoon.
wow how lucky are you!!!!!!
Even though i didnt order anything i still keep an eye on this thread, and hope others get satisfactory outcomes!!0 -

Emailed me today as they couldn't find any existance of my order, funny how I was phoned yesterday to refund and apology cash.
Might go to B&Q, grab loads of fidly things, go to cheque out, cause long queue, then when asked to pay, say I've changed me mind and walk out;)
This chap dealt with my complaint and he was very good, in fact I got the play frame that I wanted. I did hassle him, politely, every day to get progress reports so maybe that had something to do with it?They say that football is a religion, if this is true I worship at the Exacta Stadium, Chester0 -
whih play frame was it phil? cheers0

Had my first reply from B+Q today by letter.
An apology. Yes. Any vouchers no.
I am really quite angry now as they even admit that the refund will be processed in due course....Only had my money for over a month now.
Gonna write back right now to state my intention to start legal proceedings, for breach and loss
ANGRY!!!!0 -
Just had 4th call saying sorry order cancelled. I said yes I know you've already told me three times...lol. He wouldn't enter into any conversation with me and said the last offer from them was a refund and £20 voucher0

Ive just had a call from a really snooty woman from B&Q. I had actualy forgotten that they had failed to make the delivery of my playgym, so hadnt got round to doing anything about it.
I had received a phone call at work on the actual day of delivery taken by a colleague (as I was off work awaiting delivery!) saying that there was a stock problem etc. Since then I have had absolutely nothing whatsoever from them, no refund, no apology, nothing.
The lady who just phoned me offered me the £20 compensation that most seem to have been offered, but the page here I was on at the time of her call was the one where someone had received £60, so I told her I wasnt going to accept the £20 or a refund at this time, and I would write to them to tell them what I wanted.
I found the womans attitude towards me to be particuarly disturbing, almost like I was some kind of persistant complainant who they just wanted rid of or something. Negative vibes from the start, which is wonderful, considering they are the ones in the wrong. Also her "I dont know" answer as to why it had taken so long for them to contact me was really not good enough.
I do actualy now wish I had accepted the £20, as I havent the time to get into it. I bet they offer me nowt now.
Theres a lot of pages for me to trawl through on here, and again time is a restriction for me......please could someone summarise what I have read about them keeping hold of my money for 30 days and what this means, because they took the money out of my account on July 19th.0 -
Just spoke to Robin Coombes - he said nothing do with him and to contact the Doncaster Call Centre! We should all make our protests at B & Q by doing as a previous poster suggested. Piling up the trolleys, waiting till it is all through the till and then changing our mind! Even if you order online you can change your mind right up till the moment it is delivered or even within 28 days and still get a full refund. I am all for it - anyone else?No Longer addicted to Boots! - Well not today anyway!! :blushing:

Delivery Update.... You may recall I was given a new delivery date of today for my playcentre.
Cancelled this morning, no more stock, refund will be coming and £20 voucher.
Told that there was a big meeting yesterday and that this is the new agreed outcome for everyone from now on. Refund and vouchers. Kingfisher are in full 'fob off' mode too. You'll have more chance talking directly to Osama Bin Laden then you will a Director at B&Q/Kingfisher.
Small claims here we come.....Infact, I suspect that is what they want. All those that can't be bothered will take the £20, the few who do go to court will win, but it's all hush-hush, three months down the line and cheaper than giving everyone new products. They will not win in court because they are wrong and it will cost them more to defend than being claimed (are they really going to send a solicitor to each court in the land to defend their actions?). No, they'll settle out of court two days before the court date - but still a win for them.Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. Forces me to say terrible things. Overcoming anger brings peace of mind, a mind without regret. If I overcome anger, I will be delightful and loved by everyone.0 -

Their reply to that:
Dear Mrs ****,
Thank you for responding to my email of yesterday, while I can appreciate the disappointment this may have caused you I must reiterate that the offer extended to you is our final one.
Once again please accept my apologies for the inconvenience caused.
I will await your legal instruction.
