Looks like they pre-empted us giving the number out! Well done bootman, hopefully if everyone does this too B&Q will act. Not exactly raising their PR profile at the moment are they, prehaps they'll do something to save face now -particularly as so many people use this site and will have seen how bad they've been!0

Exactly!. They sent me a plastic slide, nothing else.. It makes no sense tome that they have bits and bobs ofthings lying about but sell them as a whole item. Who on earth buys two slides or two other parts and not the third part (that ONLY work if fitted to the other parts of the package).Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. Forces me to say terrible things. Overcoming anger brings peace of mind, a mind without regret. If I overcome anger, I will be delightful and loved by everyone.0 -

Hey, that sounds very much like a 'loss of bargain' resolution to me. Just make sure you can actually source the partsand if it was me (and in time they'll get around to me), I would still want a full refund.Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. I don't work for them, I was just trying to put some perspective into things, B&Q did not deliberately try and fleece anyone, and it wasn't criminal..... although how they have handled the customers and their stock is *criminal*.
As for refunds, it is fairly usual, although annoying, for money not to be processed for between a week and 28 days after it's promised. It depends how busy they are and how much you pester them!! (Don't forget banks don't always show money paid in or out immediately....... depends on your bank and payment method!)Waddle you do eh?0 -
I'm furious now.
Phoned 5 times last week as well as emailed regarding my missing uprights for the ben nevis. Was told on Saturday it was sent to the carrier. I phoned on Monday- yes they have item and It'll come on Wednesday. Lastnight phone call from carrier. Part shipment coming next wednesday- confirmed too that the rest was still coming tomorrow. Well today nothing arrives. Told by carrier to ring b&q. So I did b&q tell me to ring carrier, by which time I'm furious. Girl in customer services promises to ring back to tell me whats going on. I'm pig sick of b&q. I too have a slide thats absolutely useless.July Win: Nokia 58000 -
My Mum ordered the Ben Nevis and was offered the Matterhorn as an alternative. Like everyone here she was phoned yesterday to be told that she wouldn't be getting that either.
Today she has phoned watchdog and then contacted B&Q to tell them that she had done so and they have told her that she will get one when they come back in stock in September and can she please phone watchdog to tell them that the matter had been resolved. She has told them that she will contact watchdog when her grandchildren are playing on their play centre.
I'm not holding my breath but at least it's more than the apology we were offered yesterday.0
