Well done. You'll probably notice it only gave you the points on the amount over the price of the dress and the No 7 points purchase . I don't think they have systems sophisticated enough to look at what points you were awarded without the bar codes on the bottom of the original reciept. hth hope those are the right abbreviations it took me ages to work out what iykwim meant.

Thanks, yeap it did give me points for the money over the dress and the no7. Im really pleased with what i have got from boots since i joined this forum. People on here have really helped me and ive never had so many points on my card. It took took me a while to work out the abbreviations, now i have to tell my oh what they mean if i show him a post lol

Here are the ingredients for the P+P (with a few typos):
    cyclopentasiloxane
    acqua
    butylene glycol
    dimethicone crosspolymer
    cyclohexasiloxane
    glycerin
    dimethicone copolyol
    sodium ascorbyl phosphate
    polysorbate 20
    magnesium sulfate
    phenoxyethanol
    sodium pca
    retinyl palmitate
    methylparaben
    propylene glycol
    lupinus albus
    carbomer
    butylparaben
    ethylparaben
    propylparaben
    isobutylparaben
    panax ginseng
    morus alba
    tocopherol
    palmitoyl pentapeptide-3

So you can compare the ingredients. (Also, apart for Parfum, the Time Delay Wrinkle reducing night serum is exactly like the P+P.)

Jo_2k, if you don't mind my asking, what do you use the scar serum for? My OH has an old scar on his face, would it be any good for him. TIA

The above ingredients are all in the scar serum. Only 1 from your list is not, there are other ingredients in the scar serum lower down the list but the top ones are identical!!!!!
It says on the box"By simply massaging it in every day for three months, we've found it noticeably softens, smoothes and conditions skin. So, scars appear lighter and more even in tone and the profile of the skin appears more even"
It also says to use it on blemish(mark?) or stretchmark.
The box contains 50mls and is on special at £3.99 but you can get an ACM for 100 points!

  • Thanks to the OP for the cheap shampoo at boots.

I got 3 John Frieda volumising shampoos for £1.12 each .... and they were 3 for 2 ..... so I ended up paying £2.24 in total for the 3 of them.

I also got the expert dandruff shampoo for 40p each.

6 great shampoos for just £3.44!

This was at Boots on the Finchley Road in London and I did leave some for others to buy ....

  • Hi all you Durham Bootsers! Just a heads up to say that Marketplace branch now have the P&P sets but they are not on display yet. I enquired about them today and the lovely No7 SA said they were in the storeroom for Mothers Day, she kindly went and got one for me but didn’t put any out on display.

I got the P&P set and the GWP, SA tried to put through Highlights too but voucher wouldn’t scan, she thought it may be because I already had one GWP ("highlights voucher can't be used with any other offer"). Also No7 points voucher from a Christmas gift set wouldn’t scan either, she said they had trouble with these when used with gift sets rather than single items. I left it for another day as she had been so obliging I didn’t want to push it, I would rather make a friend than an enemy! I had a pink No7 voucher with me too from DS phone top up but didn't try that either for the same reason.

I also earned the pink £5 off No7 etc voucher, she did offer to get me some No7 wipes so that I could use it and get the Highlights with voucher. Decided to leave it for another day and browse the cosmetics without DS in tow. I already have a huge stash of TD face wipes from the last £5 till spit promotion, I’m wondering if I can clean the windows with them. :rotfl:

Not sure how many P&P sets will be left in stock, there was quite a queue building up behind me and I think a few people were eyeing up my gift set, the GWP stock was looking quite low too, loads of people getting them today.
If you want this combi in Durham then I think you’ll have to be quick, and ask very nicely too, I don't think they intend putting them out on display just yet.

Incidentally, I just noticed that my receipt says "You've just missed out on 80p in points to spend in store". I had my AC in the machine so not sure how this happened, is it possible to get these points refunded or am I too late?

Would be really interested to read replies to this - I've managed to get quite a lot of points on my card - not cos of fantastic luck with points offers, but because I can never bear to buy anything with points, cos then you would miss out on the till splits etc. Will have to bite the bullet! I'm fancying an I-Pod shuffle but don't think you can get them at Boots in Glos - only seen them once, and that was Newcastle Eldon Square (yup, a long way from home!) so I'll be interested to see when/how you lovely lot part with your points!
