Hi
I had a quick look at the first post, but haven't been keeping up to date with Boots happenings
Online they have a
6 for 3... so buy 3 get 3 free!!
http://www.boots.com/shop/product_list_endeca_template.jsp?classificationid=1052415
Looks like it's only Boots products
Is this also in store does anyone know??
I don't know about that, I will have a look today, but I know I have seen some of those things ie the shampoos and conditioners in store at 59p each.0 -
Can someone please explain for me?
What is Boots' definition of (non-returnable) cosmetics?0 -
Hi there Ladies (and Gentlemen if there are any of you reading this) :hello:
Just to let anyone who may be interested know that I went to Boots last week and was originally going for some of that Bio-Oil stuff which helps with scars as I am getting married in July and have a few patches which could do with evening out on my face first. Anyway....I saw that the Bio-Oil was £9.99 but noticed on the ACM that there was a 100 extra pts voucher if you bought the Boots Expert Scar Care Serum. I couldn't find any on the shelf so asked the SA who said they had some in the back. I asked her how much it was and when she scanned it, showed up as £5.99 and was a much bigger bottle than the bio-oil. So I thought I would give it a try...anyway when I looked at my receipt on the way out, it actually scanned at £2.99 and then I got my extra 100 pts with ACM voucher so only really £1.99 :j
I know not many of you will need scar care serum but the reason I am posting this also is because I have been using P & P for a while now and this serum bares very similar properties as the P & P!! It is the same colour/consistency and I think it seems to make my skin just as nice as the P & P. Weird I know but would be interested to see what anyone else thinks and if it is just me ! :rotfl:
Happy Bootsing All

Afternoon all
Just a quick piece of advice for anyone that was lucky enough (lol) to buy the Sanctuary Spa Secrets set online.
I managed to get two of these (with some Mini Spa Sets - and I'm still recovering from the fact I was able to get anything at all online) BUT, I just went to sort out the various sets - wondering what to keep and what to give away in hampers, and was met with a gorgeous aroma.
The Foaming Bath Soak was doing just that .....foaming! It's all over the place, so double check yours.
Off to have another bath - it's too nice to wasteOh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. ~ Sir Walter Scott0 -
Hi All
Sorry I am a complete newbie and have been enjoying the boots threads very much, everybody seems really nice and helpful. Hope this is ok as it is my first post.
I have had some success online and have plucked up courage to ask for some advise. I have the vouchers out of the magazine and I have the £5 No7 Ruby and Millie voucher plus a £3 Sanctuary voucher. Could anyone advise the best ways to get your monies worth as people seem to be getting fantastic deals and I am little confused just how they manage it.
My local store is Stafford which is not so great but I travel to the Fort, Merry Hill and Stoke to try and get the bargains.
Any advice would be gratefully received. Many thanks, and thanks for all the tips so far.:j0 -

Hi there -
Not sure what kind of items you would like to spend your money on, but have got a way to just spend 75p and get £16 of stuff. Get the No7 Suncare Lip/Eye Shimmer Stick (small item, lipstick size), costs £5.75. Also put Highlighter of your choice in your basket. (3 colours to choose from, £10.25 worth). Hand over items to SA, present Highlighter voucher from Mag, then hand over £5 voucher, and hey presto, 75p left to pay!
If you don't mind spending some more money and would like to get the No7 GWP, you could buy the new round P&P set for £20, add Highlighter and GWP. Total to pay in cash would be £15 for (arguably) £63.25 worth of stuff!
Good luck & hope this helps.

Unfortunately, that doesn't cover vitamins (or I assume, medications of any sort). My hubby spent 40 pounds last year on the wrong type of supplements for me (he can't pass up a buy 2 get one free deal). I called Boots as soon as he got home, and was told they couldn't take it back even though it was just purchased and none were used.0
