I was so fed up of the online system with Boots - pages freezing, not being able to log in etc, that I pulled a pet lip and looked on John Lewis' site - and bagged 2 x Vera Wang sets at 50% off!

Just ring customer services and they should be happy to put the points on for you. This happened to me last week - somehow I got the points added for an ACM voucher, but not for my actual shop - don't see how that happened, as the till must have read my card, durrrh! Anyway, customer services were happy to add them on (haven't updated my card in store to check this has actually been done yet though) HTH!

I already have a huge stash of TD face wipes from the last £5 till spit promotion, I’m wondering if I can clean the windows with them. :rotfl:

Not sure how many P&P sets will be left in stock, there was quite a queue building up behind me and I think a few people were eyeing up my gift set, the GWP stock was looking quite low too, loads of people getting them today.
If you want this combi in Durham then I think you’ll have to be quick, and ask very nicely too, I don't think they intend putting them out on display just yet.

oh no I have a real dillema now. i had decided I wasn't going to get anything from Boots until pay day on 21st. I thought I would get P&P box and GWP then cos it didn't look likely to be on sale before then. Now I know they are on sale I don't know what to do! So much for my good intentions:D I wonder whether they will restock for mothers day..... OH said "it's up to you" but that's not a go ahead and do it and doesn't make the decision any easier! Decisions, decisions:D

Hi clare and thanks:) I've got a few receipts like that too so I'll fish them all out. Regarding the points: "I got the points added for an ACM voucher, but not for my actual shop", I've noticed the same on my receipts, for example, 20 points on a £10 spend, but thought that was how the system worked?

I think the total spend points should def. be in addition to your 4points per £ points. I'd got 100points added for buying something with an ACM voucher. I felt a bit petty ringing customer services, cos I hadn't missed out on many points, but it was a freephone number so I thought I may as well give it a go!Suppose this means it's always worth checking your receipt! Maybe some of the more experienced Bootsers can help?:huh:

Looking back to the sale I can't believe all the stuff I didn't choose. I had the choice of the R&M make up sets that were £12.50, sanctuary sets, winter collections which I pit back. I did have a good blitz on the toys but all the sets with pts vouchers inside etc etc.

I shall be much better behaved this year & grab everything.
Still don't know who the lady was who helped me re the kids games in the basement who I again bumped into upstairs on 1st floor.

At least you got some stuff - I'd assumed the sale would start on a Monday so I got there on the wrong day! Only intensely annoying, espec. as I had to go to work on the Tuesday .Never mind, next year.......:rotfl:
