My dell page says the PC's have left the Coventry hub.Does this mean they could be delivered today?.The ETA is the 6th.Just strange that they left the hub if the ETA is 6th0

Mine left the hub today. Arranged delivery last week, for this wednesday.
It should say on the page if and when you arranged delivery. If they havent, I would phone them and request them to arrange it or it may not appear for a week or something stupid.Be nice0 -

Calling them is a bad idea as Dell's UK customer service is in India.
So basically you can't understand them or they can't understand you.
Or they even just hang up on you as they have done twice today to me already !
Steer Well Clear !!!
Email them if your that desperate !0 -
Is emailing them any more effective, though?
It's such a pain when companies outsource their customer sevices! [0 -
In my experience e mailing gets a slightly more cohesive response, i am almost convinced that the call centre is manned ( or should that be robotted ?) by robots after each question you ask there is a pause than a monotone response. Next time i have to phone them i am going to ask them about the weather to see if they can answer something that is not in their database.WHOOOOSHHHHHHHHH……..
Blimey what was that ?
That was your life mate
Oh I wasn’t quite ready can I have another go ?
Sorry mate only one per person.0 -
Emailing usually means you get logged on their Customer Service system, so at least they have a record of your problem. If it is the monitor which is holding you up for 2 weeks then Dell are in deep doo doos because this is the standard shipment with most of their Dimension 3000s and 5100s. You could always tell them you'd be happy to take a free upgrade to a 19"

My machine has left the hub, but I've arranged for delivery tomorrow evening so this probably means it's been put on the van ready to go out tomorrow morning. Normally they call you to check you'll be in for the delivery, so I would expect your order tracking to have an entry saying something like "MRS. BIGLUGS 06/09/05 EVE"You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -
I got mine at 8am this morning! over the moon!0

 Dell might just keep it for good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :eek:0
