lmaoOnly winding you'se up! Anyone have a heart attack there?
:rotfl:
Last time I ordered one mine went from Stage 2 - awaiting production - straight thru to your order has been dispatched! Now that's what I call fast buildingIm sure they just use the system to make it look hi-tech, when it clearly isn’t.

Lucky it's on Mr Agent C's credit card then!
Mine's also been dispatched, straight from stage 2, wahoo! Although according to the courier's link it's currently in Coventry and I'm in Sheffield, so let's hope it makes its way here safely...0 -
I'm up to number 3!!!! Wahay!
Please remember though that these machines will get from Ireland to your local courier depot in 1-2 days, then it will take about another week to get round to actually delivering them to your house! You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -

Sounds about right... according to the Walsh Western site they have tried to phone me to arrange delivery but there was no answer... I've been sitting here all along. They must have tried my work number, who's still at work at 6.15pm on a Friday? (Apart from Walsh Western staff

There's no rush - when they delivered my last PC they called on about Monday to see if I was around on Friday which was the first available slot for delivery!! I wasn't best pleased. You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0

Well last time I had the Dell.. they failed to deliver on the date they agreed. I took it off work, and sat around all day.
They didnt bring it the next day either. The 3rd day I phoned them, and they had left it at the depot. TOld me that they had called 10 times... (rubbish) and that Dell had given them the wrong address... thats unlikely too.
So I drove the 8 miles to pick it up myself, and picked up £40 compensation that they gave me. (Even better cos I got free delivery from Dell anyway).
Will be at work all week, so will probably call them to offer to pick it up againBe nice0 -
Found this about Walsh Western.. interesting reading..

I think everybodys PC's go to Coventry as its the head office.
And this comment (from above link) explains Walsh's role..
I USED to be a Transport Manager for walsh Western and believe me we did NOT recieve calls from businesses or the general public.
The delivery carriers are ALL endorsed by DELL and NOT WW who have no vehicles of their own except artics bringing the goods over from Ireland to Coventry.
All calls go to a call centre and WW act as go-betweens who store & pick the goods for the allocated carriers.DELL decides when & where they are delivered.Understand your concerns but I used to work my butt off for WW and its customers and ended up being the scapegoat for other peoples incompetencies
Oh.. and when also searching for WW.. i found links to other peoples POD's... its quite poor. no encryption. hence why you can check your delivery status through your history without putting any codes etc back in.
i.e. use the link, and its the 5th result..

I am really jealous reading about you all receiving your £407 machines when I ordered one on the 29th yet still got the cancelation for pricing error message. I originally got an email saying they were trying to process my order but needed further info to complete it. I gave them the info , no PDF and when I phoned again they said it was cancelled. I got no official cancelation and tried phoning to see what I could do but each time I got passed through to an overseas call centre and couldn't get to speak to anyone who might be able to do anything. This time immediately on checking after the call I got a cancelation email ! Worse , after this, I actually got another internet receipt for the same number in the middle of the night. I have also tried emailing customer support . No reply. I guess that's about it unless anyone can suggest how I can actually communicate with somebody who might be able to resurrect the order which I was promised ?0
