I also have an email saying it's moved on to the second stage - can they still cancel at this stage? Not sure if the money's come off the credit card yet. I ordered on the 29th a couple of hours after Smashed alerted us to the deal. I have never ordered from them before but I did go for the Audigy sound card upgrade which bumped it up to £472 so maybe they prefer it if you spend a bit more money!0

You could be right.I ordered 2 PC's The first i upgraded the keyboard/mouse(i know not a big upgrade). The second i upgraded the Graphics card and TFT to 19inch.Both are now in the second stage and my CC has been charged. So fingers crossed they won't get canceled0

just to stop your worries,
if you got the two pdf's you will get the order, they dont cancel at this stage.
if they want to cancel they will send you an email saying so or they will ignore you, and will not send a pdf - simple as that.
if you get stroppy with them you have had it.0 -
thanks for the info:)0

My PC has moved on to the second stage, and I've had an email saying it has been passed on to the production facility.
My credit card has had the money for this PC reserved but not taken. If Dell do what they have before they won't actually take the funds until after the PC has been dispatched.
If your card has had funds reserved they DEFINITELY won't cancel the order - so check if you're unsure. You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -

hopefully the link will stay the same, but it shows the 9316 .. but it won't let you configure it as it states the technical error page at the mo.Be nice0 -
You can always select option D09515 and amend this machine to the same spec as the one we have ordered. It then comes to £893!

Yea.. and even the £641 price is classified as a great Dell deal on their website due to the £70 saving and 512MB RAM free
