Got my PDF this morning.

Entered the details into dells status check page. My order has moved to stage 2. i.e. has cleared customer service and is now preproduction awaiting assembly.

Not sure if dell can/will still cancel at this stage - fingers crossed but not quite so tightly....

No as ive said before they cant cancell once you have the PDF as per tems and conditions this is written conformation that your oder has been accepted !

I didn't get an initial order email, just the pdf which arrived several hours after I'd placed the order, so there's hope for you yet!

If its any help, I placed my order at 2330hrs last night, didn't get any kind of acknowledgement and received the PDF email at 1130hrs today, took them 12 hours to get it out, so there is still hope.

I reckon that if you got your order in they will honour it - expect your PDF later today.
I didn't get any email confirmation until the PDF arrived.

I placed my order at about 1:00am last night and just got my confirmation email at 12:30pm today.

Thanks to you guys for persuading me to purchase this offer, I would have let this offer go by if there wasn't so much interest. Went in at 11.50pm and got my email confirmation this morning, I am now at stage 2. Now all I have to do is flog my existing 4 year old system.

Was originally looking for a relative who instantly snapped one up. I was going to wait until 31/08 so thanks to Searcher2 for spotting the delivery discount was ending yesterday.

The deal was to end 31/08 but I think it was slightly mispriced and was pulled when it was noticed with all the orders they had received. Went for the deal I posted with 19" ultrasharp TFT.

Does anyone know why this thread been closed?
