Thank you for your replies - It's amazing how much better it makes you feel just getting it of your chest to people that understand. I've just been so snappy at the moment to my poor husband and he's just as stressed.

The guy at CCCS was'nt rude he just was a little over helpful and did'nt stop talking and told me more than I really wanted to know!!!!!

I could sort of understand what he was saying is that we have £100k in debt and paying at the moment £200 on DMP we've had 2 secured against the house through the courts. So I think that he was saying that as our debt is so big and will take hundreds of years to pay back then they could push us to bankruptcy as things are getting tighter next year with the budget. I did'nt say anything more but I think I will call back and go over a few things as I did'nt think they could force you into bankruptcy!!!!

CHOCOLATE - well I found my husbands secret stash last week and polished that off!!!!

    Hello

I have just started a DMP with CCCS please can I join!

When I had my appointment they said that they used to agree DMP's that would run for 80 years, but now they are trying to be more realistic keep it within 10 years. Which is understandable i dont want to be dealing with this till I am 105years old  i must say being debt free by 35 sounds much better :D

    cheers people!

I didn't send my token payments via R/d (same reason - not enough dosh). I sent them by first class - figured that since they are all cheques, I would know exactly who had received one and if one got lost, no doubt they'd ring me anyway.

I have finally had some success - Great Universal have finally found my 6 missing payments and said they have been credited to my account (Will wait for the statement to fully believe that though) :D

Also, although both CCA requests are not showing as being delivered on Recorded Delivery website- one cheque has been cashed - so I know one of them has it :p

Still - they've found my missing payments so I don't care too much if they find the CCA or not, since I know I owe them the money - just didn't want to pay extra!

Only pain is we had our wing mirror bashed and the mirror smashed out of it when we were out Sat night - great!! Hope it won't be too expensive to fix.

hi folks...i may be joining the ranks but lurking currently...

just needed to say tinkerbell depending on the car you can possibly get spares off ebay (other auction sites are available - but not as recognised!) look at part companies as opposed to official spares - unless you go to the local scrap yard.

In the space of two weeks I had both driver and passenger side damaged on my focus - garage quoted 300 per side (electric and heated mirrors). On ebay I got the two whol wing mirrors for £60 (£30 each I mean) and found on the internet that they were only held on by one bolt...accessed by simply popping a panel off. I'm a complete muppet when it comes to cars so it surprised me I managed to fix them and they're still standing!

It may be worth you investigating this route!

Also you can get mirrors with sticky pads on the back that you can stick on if it's just the mirror glass that is damaged - obviously they cannot be damaged too badly if this is going to work.

    Good luck.

see you lot soon no doubt!

    Hi Mumzy

If you are making a token payment to each creditor with a postal order, then you don't need to send the letter recorded delivery, trace of the postal order will confirm delivery.

So you can send your letters via normal post.
