We have been on our DMP for a year now and have now had 2 CCj's against our house. I get so down about it and everytime I go to the court I feel so depressed as there are about 20 people in the waiting room all going through the same!!!!
I try so hard to look on the bright side of things but sometimes it just gets to you and you feel like what a mess we have made of our lives and our little kids have no clue (thank god).
I spoke to this annoying man from the CCCs and he siad that they are going to get harder on us next year as so many people are applying for DMPs. I mean what does he think that things ar'nt hard enough for us!!!
Sorry to have a moan but he helps.

Scared, I feel the same way sometimes, wondering how on earth we made such a hash of things. But, we have a chance to make it right and not get into this mess again. And, there are lots of things in life that we have (hopefully) got right. Everyone, absolutely everyone, makes mistakes at some stage. The important thing is to learn from them, I'm sure.
So CCCs have said things will get harder for us? Interesting! How much harder can things be?
Sue, I was so sorry to learn about your brother. You have been through an awful lot but you come across as a fighter, so don't give up.
Sometimes we need to put things into perspective, after all it is only money. Yes, it's quite horrible and so worrying, but I know there are worse things in life to deal with. Sometimes we lose sight of everything as we are consumed with the stress of our debt, but we will get through it!

AAAARGH!!! That's it I will get chocolate tomorrow when going to get some milk. The withdrawal symptoms are just too much to take. Are there any plasters for chocolate addiction? Wouldn't that just be a fantastic product?

Marru, I'm a chocolate addict but only allow myself a bar at the weekend (albeit a very large bar!)
You could use a plaster - stick it over your mouth then you can't eat! tee hee*Official DMP Mutual Support Club Member No 147**Official DFW Nerd Club Member No 923*I have no idea what I'm talking about!0 -

I think there may be a link between debt and chocolate addiction, I was going through 2/3 bars a day a while back and now like WD!!!!0

scared - was the person on the CCCS rude to you? You mentioned he was annoying... surely he's paid to be supportive and non-judgemental? If you have any further issues I would make a complaint. It's a shame as I think there are any fantastic people working for CCCS and Payplan. Don't take any nonsense.

P.S. I've just demolished half a box of Ferrero Rocher (sp?) that one of my kids gave me at Christmas. Feeling really guilty but loving the chocolate high!Member #4 of the DMP Mutual Support Club - DFW Nerd #335
