Not sure if I should post in this thread or create a new one, I'll post here first I think.
Hi
I'm in a DMP with payplan, I'm receiving some agro from a company called KPR.
I've spoken to payplan about this company, payplan don't deal with this KPR.
This is where I'm confused, my debt is with Nationwide, although Nationwide has now handed it over to KPR, payplan are still paying Nationwide.
The employee I've spoken to at KPR was nasty to say the least, she asked if I was in full time employment, I said yes, she asked why have I got myself into this mess, I said that was not up for negation, she asked if I was up to date with my mortgage, when I said yes, that's when she said she would seek legal action to obtain the debt back.
We ended the call by her saying she will fast track my case to their solicitors for further action.
How do I get this company of my case, with all the debts I have, this company has really stressed me out.
I hope I've made sense with my post, although I'm to stressed to think correctly.Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.
All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional0 -
Hello everyone.
I feel a bit cheeky doing this but I need some advice about my car and DMP and would like to hear from people who have been in a similar position.:D

Damn don't joke about things like that I got all my hopes up!
What nomoney supplied was excellent - and I wish you every luck in it all keep us posted.
Today I am loving Chelsea as my offer came through - means so much to me! But not very DFW because I can now give up work, which has been a huge stress.
I sincerely apologise for any that are not in that position, I only earn £180 a month and it takes up a lot of time and I am missing out on evenings with my hubby and girls. My new mortgage will save over that amount. Just wanted to justify things as it sounds a bit indulgent.0 -
10past6 - sorry I don't quite understand why Payplan don't deal with them, if they are the company that Nationwide have passed it onto surely they are the ones they have to deal with? Or do they mean they have never dealt with them?
Without knowing much may I recommend you take the time to read the following link and see if they have broke any of the guidelines, if they have send a recorded delivery letter to them marked clearly at the top with "FORMAL COMPLAINT"
It could be they are just trying to scare you, I honestly don't know and to be honest only they know what they intend to do. What I do know if you can get in first with a good letter of Formal Complaint you could force there hand into dealing with you more fairly.0 -
Mandoo - will take a peep - just got in from work so will get round to it - not that I will probably be able to help much lol0

10past6, What sort of debt is it with nationwide, eg overdraft, credit card etc?
Usually Nationwide's first move is to pass the debt on in house to their recovery department. Have they already done that or have they skipped that process??:j DMP mutual support thread member - 135:j0 -
Nomoneynomoney,
I have approx £1000 spare cash which I want to use to pay off my smaller creditors as this will allow the token payments they get to increase my monthly payments to the bigger creditors.
Do I have to show each creditor what I'm offering to each?? I ask because I don't want to offer anything towards the larger debts as it's pointless. I just want to pay off the smaller ones.:j DMP mutual support thread member - 135:j0 -
10past6 - I think KPR are actually Nationwide's in-house debt collection - and I think Payplan carry on paying Nationwide as they did before - which is probably why PayPlan don't know KPR.
Have you gone back to PayPlan to tell them how this company are treating you - it sounds like this woman was really OTT. I don't know how they sleep at night - these people.0
