DMP still going well. No cheap holiday this year but hopefully next year will go camping again.

Trying to get into the OS thread again as my food budget has slipped and am doing well so far.

Hope things are Ok with the newlywed clan

Yeah noticed you on the Grocery challenge - I'm there at the start of every month and then by about the 10th realise I've failed and give up again .

Things are ok here. Have had absolutely no squeaks whatsoever out of my creditors after the reduced payment in May (coz of car tax and MOT) - and that's made me feel much better about things ;) In fact the pressure was eased off so much last month that I'm really seriously considering amending my budget at the next review and slightly reducing my payments, unless I can get the grocery challenge cracked. I didn't realise how stressed I was getting about money each month, what with rent, petrol, gas, elec and food all increasing for the last few months.

Don't really want to, as I don't want to extend my debt free date, but it really did make a big difference last month. :o

So I'm waiting it out for a bit. The longer I can wait, the better for my debt free date - and the holidays abroad I plan straight after!!! :p

20% of my debt has gone now though - so that's not too bad going for year 1 :D

Everything going up is a nightmare.

Taken a different approach to my Debt free date. It will be when it is paid off. It was nice to have a date to look forward to but as mine was a long way off i lightened my spirits a bit by changing it in my Sig.

Take care. Off now to make my HM chips with drumsticks and veg. A bargain in Mr T today.

Hark at me all OS :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

20% in a year is amazing.:T:T Mind you you may have to change your username by the time we are all debt free :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. Only joking. It is nice to have a debt free in the future instead of trying to ignore it.
