He didn't buy it. He did try and download it from Limewire but it wasn't a good copy. From what I heard some of it was quite good. The ballads weren't up to their normal standard and one of them sounded like they were trying to remake Bohemian Rhapsody - weird!Lightbulb moment: 14 May 2008Debt free date: April 2014DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 188Nightowl Member No 160

Haven't been posting much but just wanted to say hello to all the new members, 200 of us, that's amazing! Well done to Rayday for keeping track of us all :T .
Our DMP is going OK. All creditors have stopped interest except First Direct who are charging us BofE base rate +0.5%, which is reasonable as we owe them a lot of money.
Lloyds TSB started interest again on our April statement, I wrote to them after the April and May statements arrived and so far they are ignoring me. I plan to write again when I get June's statement and if they ignore me for 3 months I will then lodge an official complaint. Rayday, I expect I will be looking for advice on how to do this properly  .
For those who are just starting out on their DMPs please believe it does get easier. We are into month 10 and the budget is OK for living on, this month I paid the car insurance and house insurance and we still have a bank account in credit, only £55.00 but we get paid on Wednesday. Previously we never had the money for these and either put them on the credit cards or had to take the insurance companies finance, both at silly interest rates. It is a good feeling to meet your commitments with your own money and you will all get there :j .
Hope this helps those starting out to feel it will be OK, the two months before and after starting our DMP were dark days for me but I'm so glad to have tackled our debt, life is much better now.
Good luck,
Sam,

Thanks for this message Sam. Im just starting out with a DMP with CCCS and it feels quite daunting. Just psyching myself up to cancel dds and send off token payments. I have never missed a payment to my creditors and have recently used my cards (obviously paying credit with credit) does anyone know whether this will affect my creditor's decision on whether to accept my DMP. Thanks Molly x0

Hi Molly,
It's up to the individual creditor as to whether they accept your DMP if you've used the cards recently. I have 15 creditors and had used some of the cards, but 3 months in, all but 2 have accepted (and they haven't refused, they just haven't done anything!). So you should be fine - some may make you wait more than others though.LBM : March 2008

Hi has anyone had any experience of Link-financial lin? My mbna cc has been sold to them but i'm struggling to get in touch with them to get the necessary details for the cccs!! Shame they won't just get on and sell my loan!! Instead of sending me letters with red writing on that look like something my little brother could knock up on his computer at home lol!! Still having review with cccs soon and hopefully all my new expenditure should allow me to start paying everything right again lol!!DMP support thread member no 200!!

'ello 'ello 'ello...
can I join...I said a couple of months ago I would probably end up here...but I was still doing a darn tootin' impression of an Ostrich back then...I've faced up - to a small extent but it's a work in progress - now...but my God...it's not been easy (didn't really expect it to be)...but we're just starting to live on credit and I know from experience that it is not the best practice to do that!
Cheers.
