Morning everyone!
Checking in not going to be around much this week I don't think we have had an erm small flood or water leak anyway I am down to brick in the bathroom and have a toilet.
Just on the toilet front!
Hope everyone is Ok and had a good weekend0 -
Hi Everyone, Hope you all had a good weekend.
I've been away for 4 days so was dreading the post and my heart sank when I opened the front door to a total of 25 different letters.
but just for once most of the letters aren't nasty :rotfl:
Acceptances of my DMP from 4 of my 6 GE Money accounts, Acceptance from HFC and Acceptance from Citi. All except Citi have stated that interest will stop for 6 months.
Aside from that Lloyds are still complaining that there has been no contact despite signing for 3 letters now! so theirs a letter of complaint going their way  + a default notice on one of my 2 remaining GE accounts, but I feel a bit that after they were accepted on 4 others, these will probably be sorted.
So I think out of a total of 15 accounts, that's just 3 to go now and only 1 being really difficult.
Beginning to think I can do this now.LBM : March 2008

Wow that is not bad Tigert out of 15.
Definately make a formal complaint to Lloyds it will work they are so incompetant you can force their hands into accepting.0 -
Well done Tigert.
You can do this now :T:T:T:T

Well done Tigert.
If GE accounts get transferred to someone like CL Finance (which mine did after they agreed the DMP) then don't panic - they are very nice quiet debt collectors who just said carry on paying what you agreedworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Thats exactly what they said here - wish they would buy out a few other DCA!
But to be honest I have had least problems with DCA than if they stay with the original creditor. Life is never straight forward or logical!0 -
I`ve just had a nice wonderful crap morning delivering in the rain and arrived home to a stupid letter off Crap One in which it says that they recently sent me a letter saying they would stop the interest and fees for a set period of time:j
This is what the rest of the letter says:
Unfortunately this was incorrect and your account will accrue interest and fees as normal, until an acceptable offer of payment is received via your third party debt management representative.
Right....upto going on the DMP by payments where upto date and I was under my credit limit,I made the token payment and sent off the DMP starting letter,a few weeks later I got a statement....Interest and a late fee added....sent them another letter asking them to stop Interest again, got my next statement, at the top it said we will stop interest but you have to pay arrears of £155,told cccs about it was told ignore the arrears, gets my last statement off them....no Interest but a !!!!in default of arrears fee for £12(do they make new charges up as they go along?)
And now their latest masterpiece today!!!
No wonder people go bankrupt."Life is short even in its longest days".0 -
Anyone got a good template letter for sending token payments & about to start a DMP with CCCS & please don't charge any more interest?
I thought I saw one on this thread but I'll be bu**ered if I can find it now.
I've got a bunch of postal orders ready to go....

Takeittothelimit, I got the same letter. Wonder how many more of us will get the same surprise?0
-
I am wondering if Crap one as you put it are breaking any guidelines seems a little strange how they made the same mistake twice. Could be worth taking it further, or looking into it.0
