  • I've made £15,000 he stated. If he hasn't declared it this guy is shooting him self in the foot.

He has had his fun so walk away.
  • Oh Yeah, he re-sold items at car boot - didnt think of that.

I thought Id mention it, as I was just starting to worry:eek: about whats in my kitchen cupboard.......

Ive got about 15 packs of (different kinds) vitamins, for my family and me to use. Hope Mr T does not penalise everyone.

David Kuo, from the personal finance website https://www.fool.co.uk, said "I do not think enough of us read the small-print. If you read the small-print for the Tesco Club Card, it states very clearly that the company can withdraw the Club Card from any customer it wishes at any time without having to give any reason. "I find this a little bit on the frightening side, because many people will accrue these points over a long period of time in the hope that they will be able to splash out at Christmas." i think tesco should let him have his points, tesco shouldnt have been so stupid at the end of the day he did spend his cash and earn them. its not his fault that tescos mispriced the items, i mean if they were selling leads for 99p and offering 1000points on that product then im sure we'd all have done the same and brought a few. i say well done to him, its not as if tesco cant afford it.

at the moment, the reason I think this is that lately I have been buying up to four packets of wipes for the points plus using a couple of vitamin 50 points making approx 500-600 points a shop; and the points are not being added for several days. Normally they seem to go on overnight, this is true across my three legit clubcards (green, visa, blue) which I spread the spending across. Between the three I have my highest total ever this quarter: due to legitimate points boosting of wipes. I have been saving for a holiday in Florida for 2 years, should get there next quarter and would be devastated if the points were taken away.

hmm..saw his garage - he probably is a member on here!!

In the letter of the law Tesco's is probably in the right (t&c's),but it could score an own goal if customers react badly due to negative publicity.

Makes me wonder how far to push moneysaving too - think this guy may have crossed the line - or maybe not???
